At the airport after the cab was found the old lady accompanying them turned about to say bye to Khanak.
Bye my sweet girl, you are very much like my daughter who is married now staying in India. Looking at you it seems you are going to be here for a long time. Throwing a affirming glance at Shantanu. Where do you stay ?

She left with a naughty smile at both as though she was Khanak's childhood friend.
Seems a very friendly woman with a sarcastic tone, following the tall man with an ironed white uniform, carrying the trolley into the drive way. Khanak having baby steps needed to speed up to match his, who seemed to be aware of her condition because he would throw a sideway glance, that confirmed her presence behind being in a bright yellow. The cab was London's traditional cab, ordered by Sunil for them. Driver opened the door for both and loaded the luggage. It was first time Khanak had come to London. She looked out of the window with curious eyes which slowly turned inquisitive while watching all the people moving around at jet speed. London being the capital of UK was the 5th busiest city in the world. She noticed all the golden heads in skirts, frocks, shorts, a spaghetti, tubes etc where she felt out of the crowd. The journey from Airport to the towns was of about 20-21 kms, that was 30-35 minutes long journey. This was more than enough time for her to analyze the new place thoroughly but being tired she was having a tough time to absorb it. Both were silent throughout the drive. She felt a jerk when she found out that they had reached the place. Shantanu thanked god to not to make him wake her up from her sleep.
She got down and followed Shantanu who was ordering the driver to get the bags to the flat. It was a simply 4 bedroom mews house tucked away on the secluded cobbled street and within the close proximity to the High street, tube stations and many popular amenities. The property is refurbished, successfully combining period charm and stylish details throughout. A large polished living room and Kitchen was on ground floor. The first floor consisted of the 4 bedrooms all having large windows having the height of wall, double beds and cupboards along with a grand washrooms. All the furniture was covered with white cotton sheets except for the one that was regularly used by Sunil or Shantanu who ever visited London for business.
Seeing her sleepy and pale face he asked her to use his bedroom for some time and by that time he readied a room for her. He rushed to the bedroom next to his and uncovered the furniture.
His room
She came out of the washroom wearing a pink and yellow Saree. She felt relaxed and light. As soon as she came out she saw a window that emitted a large amount of sun light that refreshed her more. She moved and stood there with closed eyes absorbing each and every detail of brightness.
He came back to inform her about her moving to the new made room when he saw her near the window. He lost himself for a moment watching her, her beautiful big eyes which he had always wanted to look at, who had a capability of expressing the feelings more than words. Her small nose ,that perfectly fitted on her face and the lips which had a soft smile dancing on it. And her wet hair from which the droplets resided on her blouse. He skipped a beat there and could not take it anymore Your room is ready not looking at her you can shift in there whenever you feel like.

That's ok. What would you like to eat? I will appoint a cook from tomorrow. It all happened in a hurry and so I could not check on him. He was waiting for her to tell him what to eat.
Why are we ordering from outside? If you don't mind can I cook us something?
You are already tired and also I don't think there must be anything in kitchen to prepare food.

The kitchen was well appointed. She entered and was searching for the cabinets with pre-requisites.
These all may contain what you want Shantanu said pointing towards the cabinets above the white granite which were well heighted for her. She heeled up to reach her hand up to check for the pots kept in it, which her hand touched and was about to fall when he rushed and support it that also touched the soft back of her palm. It sent shiver down her spine. It was the time she felt his breath on her shoulder even through a layer of covers. It was a awkward situation when they held the pot and placed on the granite.
I am sorry. And he left the room.
All her efforts went in vein when she could not find anything. Finally she found a pack of pasta kept in the last cabinet which also had coffee and tea in it. She thought it needs to be arranged.
He was in the living room uncovering the rest of the furniture. She was feeling a bit uncomfortable to approach him after the clumsy moment they shared. But still she managed.
I found Pasta in there. Is it ok if I make that? And some coffee?
Ok. He avoided looking at her.
She disappeared in the kitchen. And after while she placed everything on the dinning table which he saw and came on his own. He saw two coffee mugs with a plate of biscuits and pasta bowl. She served him and took seat on one of the chairs. He was having the coffee very slowly as he liked a black coffee, but dint say a word to avoid conversation. Her mug was left on the table untouched when she was completing the remaining kitchen cores. After a while she came to the table and lifted the coffee mug and saw he was still finishing it. He gulped it in one go.
I am visiting the office to make note of the things.

He took out the car and drove himself to the office. The office was at 20 Hanover Square, London W1S 1JY, UK which was around 3 kms taking 12 minutes to reach.
In office
Sunil had already made people aware about Shantanu taking over the office work. And also a party was arranged for welcoming him for which he was invited along with his wife. Mr. David Wilson who would take care of the office cores in absence of Sunil had welcomed Shantanu.
Hello Mr. Khandelwal, Mr. Sunil told me about you working here now onwards. And there a welcome party arranged for you in the evening. Please get your wife along.

She was sitting in her room when the phone ranged , office calling it flashed. She answered it

Lunch ? we are ordering from outside? Is it ok if I cook something?
You can cook but then it would be hectic for you. We have just arrived an hour ago and I don't think this is a good idea.
She thought for a minute and agreed to his explanation thinking he might not have liked what she cooked in the morning. Ok.
What will you have?
Anything that you will have.

Umm, yeah that will do.
K..see you at home. And yes we have a party to attend in the evening. So I was thinking if you will join me. It is for both of us. Dad has arranged. Indirectly pleading her to come.
Party? I mean ..is it that necessary?

With that the conversation ended.
He came home with two parcels packet for them using the latch keys thinking of not to disturb her. Placing it on the dining table he checked for her in the room and saw her coming at the same time. They had their lunch.
