Part 30

What is Love? A question that's still in quest for a perfect answer !! It is an emotion which liberates you as a person !! A sensitivity that reflects the colours of your soul which may not otherwise display itself !! When a girl looks herself in the mirror more than necessary,she's in love, the guy smells himself innumerable times a day,he's in love !! When the drab,dreary world suddenly looks beautiful,you are in love !! When your heart sings a song, the tune and lyrics of which are self composed ,you are in love !! Someone who otherwise hates rains starts enjoying it, is in love !!

Love is a paradox of sorts !! You laugh and cry in the same breath; reason out and be unreasonable; joy and sorrow dwells together !! The mania manifolds itself till the infected are declared chronics !! The chronics in our story were experiencing a high,never known before !! The trance dominated their psyche to such an extent that they were able to see each other only !!

Khanak woke up to the sublime reverie,her entire being playing itself like a harp !! She decided to make coffee and surprise him. Tiptoed,she bolted the knob and slided noiselessly !! There he was,in the lap of deep slumber looking delectable as ever. The gush in her was radarless and all she wanted was to embrace him !! But as they say if wishes were horses,beggars would ride. So before her deep desire manifested itself,there he was locking his sleep laced eyes on his object of desire !!

Wanting to cage his object,in a reflex action he pulled her in completely till she was under him,his frame exerting all the necessary force needed to keep her in wraps !! Khanak felt a surge of lightning through her. Masculinity was an unknown territory and she uneducated when it came to handling it !! His scent,the scent of a man consumed her senses as she lay captive while he plunged and explored !! He worked his nose starting from her temple sliding down to her nose,lips,chin,traversing through her slender neck before reaching her shoulders !! His passion,limitless,savoured her virgin feelings,thrilled to his bones !!

" How I dreamt of my mornings to be like today's " !! His grin said it all !!

She was bereft of words,the crimson tint deepening itself accentuating her beauty further !! This proximity was novel and electrifying enough to take both her breath and senses away !! His fingers hungrily caressed her pristine face pushing her untamed curls behind her ear. Those hazelnut pools were shy for the first time,she acted coy and he fell in love with her again !!

" Did anyone ever compliment you on your careless beauty "?

" What is careless beauty "? Her face muscles suddenly turning taut" !!

" Your's isn't a …. ummm….. usual beauty, you are unique !! Your beauty flows free !! It is unleashed,uncut and unpolished " !!

" That's a refined way of saying that I'm wild and untamed,isn't it "?

" That makes you an enchantress and I have lost myself to this beauty " !!

Though a little perturbed by the comment,she finally understood what he meant and once it registered, she couldn't help those pools from overflowing. She realized his state of mind and her heart was inundated with pride !!

" Ohhh !! I forgot, Shantanu,your coffee has gone cold !! I'll make another one ".

The statement resulted in a penetrating look from him and she felt like being seen through!! All she wanted now was to free herself from his clutches !!

" So what, you are hot and I can see and feel it " !!

She melted on hearing this and couldn't muster enough strength to push him away or maybe she didn't want to ! Most of the times, strange though,women want absolutely the opposite of what they say and our protagonist is no different !! Though her heart wanted to lie in his embrace forever, she verbalized exactly on the contrary !!

" Let me go Shantanu !! I have a lot of work ; And you look dangerous,I'm scared " !!

" Lady, let me tell you that I'm the safest guy to be with and all my colleagues will vouch for the same !! But if it's a dynamite like you then I could get disoriented, you know what I mean " !! She blushed for the nth time sending his heart in a flutter !!

A lot of struggle ensued before she could break free and headed straight for her shower !!

Fabulous!!! The description of love is penned down beautifully!!! 👏No one can beat Shaan in his lines!!! Making Khanak blush all the way through his words 😳 ShaNak life is going through the phase where everything is blissful..😃 but they reached here by fighting very hard with each other and themselves!!!
