He doesn't say a word, just holds her elbow gently

Samar: Iam coming over to eat Gujju food!

Khanak hugs him warmly, and stays in the hug for an extra minute

He senses that "You should go shop with me, I might want to buy something special"

She is all cheered up now "Kiske liye? OMG! Really?" "Kab hua?"

Samar: Shaayad by the end of this year might get engaged

She almost squeals

Samar: You should meet her

Khanak: I wish you all happiness and centuries of joy together'' (smiles)

Samar steps back a lil and sees the couple together, to him it seemed like Shaan and Khanak belonged together'''.

Samar watches them go, they are super silent now, the laughter and chirpiness is all gone from his friend's wife, she is quiet'''.

She has the FM on loud, hair is oiled, she is wearing an old lemon yellow chikan and is dusting and wiping and cleaning''.. it had rained heavily in the morning
