She steps out of the bathroom, her face scrubbed clean, walks out wiping her face, past the "An Affair to Remember" reprint on the wall. Cary Grant looks incredibly handsome, she reaches and touches his nose pauses by the picture, wonders how the movie would have been received in 1958'..
She hears a click and a whirr, her husband is taking her picture.
She goes back to staring at the poster.
Shaan: Khanak, idhar dekho!
Khanak: Nahi!
She walks back into the bathroom
He follows her, lets his camera hang from his neck and brings out a tiny device and starts recording
Khanak: You are crazy! (mutters)
She rubs lotion, finds a matching lavender speck from what to him looks like a little square piece of sheet, tries it on, then tries a darker color among a few others, finally settles for the dark lavender. Takes her kohl container and slowly applies under her eyes, he watche sit mesmerized.
"I am done!" she declares
"Itni jaldi?" he asks
"Hmm" she responds
He is blocking the way "Abhi kahan ja rahi ho?" (still recording)
"Aada se milne" she says as she pushes him out of her way, he bends down and inhales her shoulder''.
She shakes her head and tries to walk past him
Shaan: Looks like you've been busy on FB!
She looks at him startled "Aapko kaise maloom?"
He smiles wryly "Three responses in one day?" When your average is '. What is your average?" (crowds her in the bathroom)
Khanak: You are recording all this? (amused)
Shaan: You bet I am, hearing you talk should be worth big money! (chuckles)
Khanak: Not funny! Band kariye
Shaan: More importantly, are you worried? (cryptic)
Khanak: Ummm''..I was being caring! (embarrassed)
He brings his phone out, turns the camcorder off
Shaan: really?
Goes to Pradyun's status, there is a pic of him with red bruises, but he is winking for some weird reason and is doing a V with his fingers, and holding a helmet like Tom Cruise''..
Shaan: You say "OMG! What did you do to urself?" to which he says " Bruised by YOU!"
Khanak turns red, looks at the animal on his tee
Shaan: You respond by saying "You are funny when you are all beat up" he says "I am funny only around you!" She is leaning on the wall facing the mirrors, it has some pictures at a height, it's a foot above her head...
Khanak giggles upon hearing that.
Shaan: To which YOU say " Agree! Take care See you soon" and the fool says "Is distance making ur heart grow fonder?
Khanak: He is silly, he had a dirt bike accident (reaches and touchesthe cleft on his chin). I was just being nice to him
Shaan: Quit messing with me Khanak...
Khanak: I can go mess with him Shantanu
Later...
Shaan: I could swear I tasted cucumber! (in her shoulder)
Khanak: Ritu was annoying me! She threw some at me (grins into his shirt, arms wrapped around him, eyes closed).
Ritu: Will somebody feed me? (banging the bedroom door, shrieking)
Khanak frees herself from Shaan's grip runs out...Almost crashing into Ritu, "Kahaan bhaag rahi hai?"
"Tujhse milne she responds
Ritu: main to yahi hoon (confused)
Shaan appears from the passageway video camera in hand
Ritu: NOW I get it!
The two friends giggle and whisper secrets he records it all
Ritu: She is mine tonite Gujral!
Shaan: She is mine! Period! (looking at his wife)
