Souma my gut feeling tells me they will not even attempt to talk to each other. Khanak will be her usual quiet self no matter how much leg pulling is going on & Shaan will try to be impassive & nonchalant & keep texting in his phone! They will ignore the banters revolving them. The tension will be felt only by dadi but on surface everything will seem ok & hunky-dory!

To a third person it will seem fine but to the readers , themselves and dadi..a different picture will be perceived.

Khanak knows exactly what she is doing, she is mature, I am sure she knew Shan will get mad, just not sure how mad.

Shan did something not commendable either. Any woman, even a GF or a wife cannot tolerate this comment, paying for s--. It is the most insulting comment for any woman. Its awful. Another thing I don't like is abusing. It is strange, I can't tolerate abusing in any arguement, I don't abuse, I don;t expect other person to do it either.

I am not prissy, abuses in a context is fine, with friends,, when kidding, joking, playing pranks is ok, not when you are arguing about a serious matter, it gets personal and below the belt.

Both have fallen, lost respect, trust and understanding. They will both have to come to terms with it.

Dadi: can you hang up the phone please?

Shaan waves

Dadi: Khanak you need to throw it out of the balcony tonite.

He hangs up hearing that

Shaan: I would dive down and get it! (talking to Dadi)

She is done serving all, Dadi gets a plate, her husband is waiting

She fills it with a couple of snacks and adds a piece of pastry but holds off on gajar halwa

He wont lean forward and take it either.

She picks up the plate and hands it to him, focussing on a spot behind him on the silk floral pattern of the sofa.

He takes it with no expression, doesn't even utter a thanks

Takes the pastry out and picks up the gajar halwa right in front of her eyes and eats only the non veggies stuff and the gajar halwa doesn't touch the samosas or the veggie puffs or the bite size flavored idlis that she served.😭😭

Each chapter shows you a different culprit...

They are unpredictable because they both are impulsive.
