The problem here is At any given time.. the impact would have been the same..!as againt to if she had spoken, convinced.. fought & then done the transfer.. !

communication ki samajh hoti then it would've been a whole different ball game...

as for impact being the same. i am not sure. i think i would still argue that the impact would've been much different had she done this before she was mrs. gujral. not saying would've been no impact. but it wouldn't have been the second cold war.

Chris she also wanted to marry this guy, she is also immensely attracted to him! And she knows if she had done that maybe the effect would have been on the marriage itself. Maybe Shaan might have refused the marriage...though doubtful but it could have been one possibility & obviously she didn't want that! Or else u r right she could have transferred it before the marriage itself. And even if he didn't refuse to marry her the entire marriage would have turned out into a battlefield with no discussions or interactions between the bride & the groom. No looks exchanged, not a nod or any words of any kind. No one wants such a marriage which only happens once in a lifetime. Many factors played into her mind & so she decided to do this after everything was over.

Or another reason she didn't know the amount to be paid to the hotel, maybe! She found it out & then paid it to him.

Or she could have paid after 6 months to him...that's the time limit she has given to her marriage! She thinks Shaan will be done with her by then!

But this was a well thought out plan! I don't know whether she knew about the effect or not but definitely she knew it won't be taken too well. So the sly transfer instead of a khullam khulla check to him.
