Shantanu could not believe their luck. The van had now broken down. That stupid foolish man had ruined their honeymoon. He had not wanted to worry his mother. The fact of the matter was, they both were fine.

They now had to walk again while dealing with their heavy luggage . They could be in Switzerland now romancing. However at least they had each other now.

" This wouldn't have happened if you had filled up the fuel in that rental car,"Khanak hissed as she struggled with her bag.

"Hey, hello? You are supposed to say Shantanu don't worry I am with you! Instead you are pointing out my mistakes," he retorted.

" Aap toh bache jaise ho. I don't know how I will take care of you and a child," she said.

Shantanu smiled.

" I don't need much for you to take care of me," he insisted.

Her eyes widened.

" Mujhe bus pyaar aur pyaar chaiye hai," he said.

She blushed.

Later on they were able to catch a ride on a truck. They sat together on top where there was plenty of hay. Shantanu grabbed a piece and started to tickle her with it. She squirmed and slid over to the other side.

Suddenly they must have hit a bump and she ended up lurching towards the middle. Shantany pulled her close.

" Tum theek to ho na?," he asked with concern.

She nodded as she snuggled close to him. He patted her head and continued to hold her close.

It was drizzling somewhat when they reached the cottage. It was near the coast of the ocean. Shantanu got down first and took their luggage down before helping Khanak down from the truck. Shantanu paid the truck driver for his services then went towards Khanak.

The cottage was roomy and felt cozy. Khanak gazed outside at the shoreline. It was beautiful, more than she had ever imagined. The sun was setting. Although they had a hectic day she wanted to dip her feet in the water now.

Shantanu turned to see her rushing out the door.

" Yaar finally we can peacefully romance and she has gone outside," he muttered.

He peered outside to see her edging her way into the water. Soon she was playing in it and was getting drenched.

He sighed. All their adventures were incomplete without getting drenched. He decided to go pull her out as it was getting dark. He stopped to admire her as he got closer to the shoreline.

He thought again about whether she had any incomplete dreams. She had always supported his dreams and tried to help him focus on what really mattered. He decided he would talk to her about it before they returned to Mumbai. For now he wanted to live and enjoy this moment to the fullest.

Suddenly he felt water on his face. It broke his reverie. He opened his eyes to see Khanak splashing him. He whined at first then started to splash her back and chased her around.

He caught her and twirled her around. When he put her down she leaned back and he pulled her back up again. He turned her so her back was against his chest. He traced from her shoulders to her hands, then gripped her waist tightly.

She felt her cheeks turning red, as the sun set and soon the moonlight was upon them.

After they reached freshened up, Shantanu built a fire as it was growing cold. She didn't know why but she felt goosebumps on her arms.

" Are you feeling cold Khanak?," he inquired as he started to come close to her.

Feeling his warm breath against her neck, she closed her eyes. He edged closer before wrapping his arms around her. She blushed as he covered them both with the blanket and pulled her against him.

He leaned down and kissed her shoulder. He next pushed back her hair and kissed her cheek.

Sometime later they slept beside the fire.

So cute!! Nothing like running on the beach and getting drenched and he's going to talk to her abt her wishes!!!:)

It's such a coincidence, that I posted about the ' Khuda Jaane ' song in the promo thread yesterday... I imagined ShaNak would have playful scens on the beach too.....And seeing ShaNak in the pre-cap, made me think this PraSha scene would be perfect for them too....
