I still am wondering what actually connects them. It is very difficult for two people from completely different upbringing, backgrounds, education levels, sensibilities and tastes to come on a common platform and think alike..........It is in fact a rarity !!
and sometimes we come close to some people who are completely different in all aspects and still we gel well.......I personally feel that the initial bonding does not require any qualities as we do connect to people we do not know at all.............
--- In dhulwadi, when they met first...the instant connect was of positive vibes....Shaan is simply mesmerised by the ability of a girl to remain innocent, jump at the sight of 'mithai', the rawness, the simplicity and plain lack of sophistication which made her a 'real' person, a 'natural' human, with zero pretention. The sophistication and with it the pretention and the prim and proper attitude which he had seen uptil now in city bred females, his mom, bhabhi and natasha is lacking in Khanak.............i think he must have been amused but did not realise that he admired her..........She loved how someone can be such a burthal and she was the smarter of the two.....the trait she enjoys even now and doesn't leave a single opportunity emphasizing that she is more smart, more strong, brave and experienced.....LOL....eg. the SR talk.
I think the positive vibes and the curiosity of knowing someone completely different from them made them sit back and notice each other.....though the circumstances played a role and their initial positivity changed into hatred for sometime........
1.) I think Khanak is drawn to Shaan because no matter how childish and crazy he is, he is a person who doesn't have double standards, he is not a hypocrite who has different values when with different people, accepts his mistakes, he is not mean and whatever he does - he is open about it, supports people when he loves them, is open to discussions and apparently Khanak loves discussing, gives respect to all women around him and gives a space to Khanak to express what she feels, doesn't impose himself on her, accepts her as she is and openly shows admiration........any girl would be drawn to such a character.
2.) Why Shaan loves her more than anything in the world and finds peace with her - I think she is the Stability that is lacking in his life........he has always been a careless, footloose, spoilt brat, he always did what he wanted and got what he desired ( in his own words)........he was anything but stable..... Khanak is completely opposite to him and thus completes him......she is mentally more strong, more balanced, she doesn't encourage Shaan's careless ways but gives him a radar in a subtle way, without being hard or harsh, she supports him, gives him the self -confidence he lacked regarding his potential, appreciates him, makes him talk and amuses him till today, she is strong in her values and such people are good support systems in themselves as they believe in and practice what they preach.
3.) As they are complete opposites in some traits and totally in sync on other fronts, they gel well....
they are definitely evolving as individuals................I'm thinking over this.....will post later !
