welcome.It is a general tendency on the part of people to consider all those educted,working and independent women to be the stronger portryal of women hood.

Does that mean al our grand mothers who mostly were home makers were not stronger mentally.Indeed they were much stronger mentally than most of us.

Khanak's character is a very simple funloving homely girl who wanted to lead a happy life after marriage.But that was shattered so soon after marriage.Just becasue her late husband loved his family too much this girl has been doing so much for their family just by doing whatevr possible from her side in the dharmic way.

u may think such selfless characters are not possible in today's world.Again i would disagree.THough there are not many atleast one or two women out there even today. I have come across so many women who are average lowwer/miidele class but work so hard in their own way to see the well being of the family.Despite of being not so much educated and all that.

Khanak is a very strong girl who knows that her late husband's family is her top priority.Yet she fitted /still trying to fit in in to the current husband family without much fuss and discussions on her previous life.She has been sincere all along to this fmily as well.

and yes she is not the one who is going to be impressed by those hot looks of her current husband or the enormous wealth that he has.,but if she falls in love with him it would only for him and nothing else

.And u urself reasoned out there that there is no artificiality in the show.,And everything is so real and that is what is most appealing to everyone of us.

And the comic scenes are with the flow of the story unlike in some where they are thrust upon.

i encourage u to watch the show continuosly. please...this is a request only.

u dont want fans who demand moments..u want fans who demand a story..😊 and this i have been ranting like forever in the star one forum... a few corny/cheesy/hawt moments cannot replace a sensible story..thankfully, being an underdog seems to help odhani

the point is at the end of the dday..in movies u have art movies and commercial movies.....u dont see that in soaps...they are all commercial....viewer quantity matters

KT has a bigger appeal ..and the makers want to use it i presume

Like everyone else..I disagree about Khanak's character but I do agree about the dance scene. 😆 I agree he's a good looking guy, but I would never want to see him dance in a towel. 1) it's too cheesy 2) it's very much like other shows 3) it's just weird for the poor guy to be shown in a towel! 😳 I might have said something about it before..but I always joke, I never meant that I actually did want a scene like this! I would never want that. 😆

TRP = everything. atleast for most people..they watch shows based on TRPs, they make shows with the trp thing in mind, everything they think or do has to do with this little acronym. 😳

@nitya: i agree with u yaar on the bit where u said u might've joked abt such a scene before but never ACTUALLY wanted to see a towel dance.. me too i remember joking abt how i wanna see shaan in shower scenes once every week... but i didn't literally mean that..and shower is fine.. but dancing in a towel... i dunno if any of us had ever wanted such a goofy scenario for our poor baby! 😆😆 but o well...

per u know.. i dunno why but i really get depressed when i hear all these tv famous actors talk abt entering bollywood.. ejaz khan... rajeev khandelwal... and so many more.. most of them just wanna get in bollywood after tv... but i persona;lly feel some actors just suit telly dramas more than b-wood... bollywood actors woyld look awkward coming in a drama.. just liek that i feel actors like kt ejaz rajeev arjun b. suit tv dramas more.. but o well.. who am i to say? if they end up coming in a hit movie.. their careeer'd shoot up.. 🤔

though for now, and in the near future, i'd rather see kt stick with tv dramas .. this way v get to see these actors everyday.. if they choose b-wood, u only see them for 3 years once an year.. this is why i have always been more of a fan of tellyworld than b-wood... 🤔

u know when i started enjoying odhani... i guess mid july.. i was kinda disappointed abt how it didnt have that many fans.. that it was an underdog.. but now i am quiet happy... it being an underdog means it will go sensibly.. not get swayed here and there by phans 😛 just hope this kt towel dance doesn't result in a flood of new "strip-off" hungry fanss who want nothing else other than shirtless kt every other episode! 😆 jk😆

first of all whole hearted thanks for writing postive remarks on the other forum on the roj roj ki zagda on the IF forum.U put it so well to ignore them and move on.Anyways all have apologised as well.And darling u are a sweetheart in claming everyone.

yes.I also felt that the towel sequence was a little bit more of body show

.Infact i feel embarassed to look at the scenes of promos.But i guess the show business is getting harder and harder day by day and all such sort of acts are sure to be a part and parcel of coming days slowly in all chaannels one by one.Only the magnitude is going to be different.And starone is at its best in stripping the male actors.

Though a shower scene was more than adequate I think the channel wanted to try something different by the saawariya song and may be kt had to agree and nothing more.But the way it is being promoted i tell u is too good..

yes.I am also in personal favour of story and acting etc., do the talk.But also aware of the fact that they alone are not enough in todays show business.somethings have to be tried to get an edge.

surely RBO does not need such things but the channel thinks otherwise.We have to wait and see for the reponse.

And yes except SRK,and may be south actor Madhavan (remember tv show ghar jamai)

nobody else seems to have made it big in BW.,or any other wood be it regional also.May be prachi desai a in females but then there is Ekta supporting her like anything.,and still prachi a long way to go.

Bollywood has a lot of glamor associated with it...

I like korean telly more than korean movies... there might be a crowd which likes telly more than films too..but unless steps are taken to promote/exploit this audience it might not work out

being an underdog pays of at times..if the makers persevere.... which didnt happen for bvd like tcr knows
