Yeah, written updates are good, but they are nothing in comparison to watching the show. You'll see it in a new light then. πŸ˜ƒ

i think khanak's character s quite strong tbh, she didnt cry for months over her dead husband, like in some other shows, she instead embraced suraj's responsibilities,
secondly she faces khushboo and the mother inlaw as well as natasha's dad, so thats another of her strengths. and when shans family took the mick of her english, instead of sobbing around she decided to learn english, so she is a fighter. so overall i think khanak's character is quite strong.πŸ‘
but on shans character i agree wid u bandicoot, he can be at times too dependent on the people around, he used to be too dependent on natasha, but now they r showing that shans becoming bit by bit responsible and less dependent on those around him (another think that i give khanak credit for)!!

@ caro
How r u dear? Yes, I remember now... gosh... r u in touch with Kavya? How is she? Miss her very much in BVD forum... not that the story helps but still....

I would encourage u to watch RBO... someone has put all the ShaNak scenes as they are called...

Like someone said here, Shaan's character is beginning to get strengthened... he is being very protective of Khanak and is trying his best to take care of her and esp from Het-Mangal!

If less promotions means a good story, I will take that anyday, LOL

oh ya i am in touch with kavya😊.....she is kinda busy with her work.....but she is doing awesome..will tell her u miss her :)

the story got totally in a route that wasnt appealing in bvd..and also we got busy with real life

oh ya I think Miss Sid4TeamCanada passed my the link for all the Shanak scenesπŸ˜†

trust me tvr, this channel takes user feedback seriously...
if you land the wrong kind of fans who petition needlessly..the show could go downhill superfast..

it is good as it is/...

i see shaan protective at times..and super annoyed at times...maybe it is a phase of reconciling

any idea who the script writers are? hope not the Star One regularsπŸ˜•

EDIT:
neezy4eva

I never decried the original script..not saying u implied that..but just a clarification

so when the script startedd off as khanak taking over surajs responsibilities..I thought i was going to see another "SHANTI" in the making..shanti as in the old mandira bedi drama if any of u remember....

there is a growth of character... but i wish the script was well rounded

Hello All...
First of all i respect everyone's opinion but i would just like to emphaise what others already said that despite that she's from a village, lost her husband before even having a wedding night, is in a house where no one loves her, is between two lovers "supposedly" natasha and shaan...she's making the best of the situation.
the character of khanak is shown to be caring despite all the difficulties she faces
1. she loves suraj yet she agreed to marry shaan to save his life
2. she still respects her in-laws although they don't like her....
3. she stayed in the khandelwal house only so that her EX-inlaws won't be kicked out of their house...she no longer has any relations to them but she still cares
4. she kept shaan's actions hidden from the family when he got drunk and imagined her as natasha...and left the house when he got angry at her...
so she has given up a lot...and yes shaan's character is maturing on-screen and starting to care for her.
so the point of the show is that although she's from a village and is uneducated she's trying her best of the situation...most indian dramas would show women in this stiuation crying and sobbing...
i think it also sends a message that women can bring a change in a man...i mean shaan hated her at first and disrespected her sooo much but look how he cares for her now...
and i mean in real life powerful women doesn't mean you're fighting in the army...i think thts what the message is and they obviously have to have a love story for young audience to like it.
Lastly the love is portrayed is between a husband and wife and that in itself sends another message. For men to take care of their wives and to be kind to them and for women to take care of their husband and to respect them
And i think another hidden message it shows that socioeconomic class at the end doesn't matter as long as people are kind and sincere in their intention...
anyways, its upto pple to like or not...after all its only a fictional tv show....

ooh and the towel sequence is actually a dream sequence....and the reason for that is that the RBO fans demanded it...

i was reading a few forum topics i think dated maybe may and quite a few of them (probably all girls or lets hope all girls) wanted to see karan in a towel...
and since star one is notorious for showing their heroes shirtless very often (karan singh grover in dmg, gurmeet in geet, arjun bijlani in miley jab hum tum lol cuz these 4 are the only shows i watch)...i guess they went ahead and decided to do this sequence...but i read somewhere that its a dream sequence so i dunno

CAROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO???? HAILAAAA... *rubs eyes*
u HERE????? mujheeee batayaa bhi nahiiiii!!! 😭😭😭
hehe yaar see saawariya track - no comments on that πŸ˜† infact even many of us have no idea wht cv's were thinking when they decided to shoot this! πŸ˜† i mean kt havign a hot body is one thing.. but making the poor guy dance in a towel, that to for a realization scene which shud have been shown as more of a serious thing.... i'm just hopign this is the only one though... uptil now odhani team have been doign really good..it wud be good if they didnt get caught up in this trp or gaining more fans chakkar... 😳
per other than that.. i dunno abt the whole women power thing.. perr what i got from their initial promos and episodes was the msg if how odhani can change colours, and how khanak was so bent on not getting another coloured odhani (husband/love) in her life... i think they r doing a good job of showing the msg.. u just watch a few epis yaaar.. watch the first 10-15 episodes, until suraj dies, and then start from july / end of june episodes... i really like how the writers r pacing the story! πŸ˜‰
i still can't believe i wasnt the first one to comment on ur topicπŸ˜’ why didnt u pm me! πŸ˜’
khayrrr missy... go and watch first 10 or so episodes of odhani ..anddd then just watch shanak scenes until end of june..then start watching the whole episodes again - that way it wont take a long time for u to catch up! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Ž
lemme now catch up with wht's been going on in this thread!πŸ˜†

lesser promotions, lesser articles and less fancier costumes... I dont want the costume part to change... because i always like a well clothed actress.. and ya lesser trip-fall scenes when compared to other dramas

you dont have eyelocks stretching half the episode as well

so the crowd is different

bvd never had that big of an audience as well

^^ all the reasons i'm in love with this show! 😳😳😳
to be honest, there were times a few when i thought eyelock kuch zyada hi hogaya.. ya phirr this shudnt be a time for eyelock.. per these times have been fairly few... and overall i like the few eyeclosk they have..
did u see the aug 13th episode ?? i came to the CC for a bit to comment on it! πŸ˜‰

LOL sid

i have been trained in a few other shows that eyelocks dont matter to me anymore :(

or atleast few seconds eyelock

arre i thought u would be busy..why Pm anyway..knew u would spot this

are u kicking me out till I am better educated about odhani?😲

trp mantra dude..trp mantra

when all the other dramas are doing the shirtless hero act..why leave tis one behind...

and also...they might have thought it would be possible to bring in a larger audience like KTs previous drama through a topless act

i showed u KT as sameer..didnt I? the skirt chasing bro

KT seems embarassed abt this act anyway

lemme catch up with the routine then
