Right on, about KT's 'body' being used/exploited for commercial gain, on screen! In my line of work, we do a lot of critique of the female body being used and exploited for gain and how this is a man's world etc.... here is a case of the reverse... where female teens (and some male teens as well probably?) demand that the leading male star be de-robed time and again😆

Ignorance is bliss , but in a marriage, ignorance is definitely not long lasting... when responsibility knocks...its time to pay serious attention and marriage comes with responsibility of not just the other partner but ones own self... and I guess Natasha just wasn't prepared for it, but if you see SHaantanu, from the moment he married Khanak, he was aware what he got into... after initial frustration of muddled situation, he never once took the responsibility frivolously... and that's what makes me admire the character so much!

@ Sareeta: Arai ladki.. Why would I kill u now for having a different opinion?? 😆 ~ I enjoy reading all views actually and I do agree that the possibility of Shaan realizing that he has married Natasha for all the wrong reasons could have occurred without Khanak's entry. However, it is also a fact that many people continue to live on their lives not realizing what true love entails and how the one they've been married to is not exactly their soul-mate. In reality, many marriages are based on compromise and sacrifice. I am not advocating that its the right thing to do. Not at all. However, it is a fact that people do not realize the importance of something in their lives until they are exposed to the alternatives. Let's assume that Shaan was the responsible kind and Natasha just wanted to be a trophy wife. It would've been possible that Shaan's responsible and mature nature could have transformed the care-free nature of Natasha for the better after marriage. People change a lot with time and given the right opportunities. Natasha's ideals would have changed for the better had Shaan showed her that marriage entails a lot more than having romantic dinners or dates or saying "i love you's".

Natasha was not prepared for responsibilities is something that's been portrayed in the story. But who is to say that she would not have changed for the better under Shaan's companionship? There's a room for speculation that exists there. Anyhow, since Natasha is not the lead, she's been shown in such a light to us. All I am hoping for is that her character will not be butchered in the name of Trps and turned into a villainous one as I really do enjoy her sweet nature.

Like someone mentioned before (and my apologies for not remembering the name here) but its indeed a pity that acting takes a back seat in the very medium that's supposed to emphasize on it and the physical attributes and looks of actors take priority over their acting skills to evaluate their effectiveness and popularity overall. Karan Tacker, for instance, is a good actor and has improved tons from his first show but his looks and body continue to be "used" as the luring tool by the channel in the name of ratings rather than his acting. Acting & Story should take precedence and other things should be used as accessories to it than the other way around. Just my opinion 😳 ~

But why is Natasha's dad hell bent on getting Shaan out of his daughter's life? Did he dislike Shaan to begin with or just doesn't want his daughter pursuing a married man now? Is he a positive character btw?

De-robed!! My word, that is exactly what is happening with KT!! So well said... all these days we were discussing how cruel it was to use the female body as a show piece to exhibhit etc.. and now its a sudden change... good lord where are we heading.. one would think, the exploitation were to stop instead men jump into the bandwagon and say if you can strip so can we?!! LOL ROTFL... 😆 Like if they did that, people would stop complaining about them asking a female lead to strip?!! LOL...

Rohan is a dude that Natties dad selected for her .... and has insisted a couple of times after Shaans wedding to go meet him and move on.

The night that Khanak was going to leave.. Natties dad comes and says he has paperwork for Suraj's home and he will evacuate them if she leaves.. he says they will live in that home as long as she lives in the K home. So hence she is forced to stay for Suraj's parents.

yes i would love that too...specially the aspects of Shaan.. i think with Shaan it was a college sweetheart as you may say.. so like you said he didn't know any better.. Khanak got a different side of him out that he didnt' know he had and now has gotten to love and loves Khanak too..

btw.. iP4 .... i want too! :D but mine is fairly new.. so can't demand that :D

iP4 is beautiful.. I heard church bells literally when I saw it. But like yours, I have got a contract to go with first so won't be upgrading for a while.. The camera quality on it is really good btw 😉

Natasha's dad didn't like Shaan bcos he was immature and irresponsible... if he has other motives, we don't know them yet.

Point there Sana... hmm Natasha transforming for the better... very positive and I would have loved that... but somehow... I guess... the growth has to happen together... and not individually and somehow Natasha at the point of marriage wasn't in anyway close to being ready to change or grow... but then again, chance for speculation exists that she might have changed and evolved... but life doesn't come on a platter does it, you learn the lessons the hardest way possible... so Natasha couldn't have grown in such a warm compassionate , absolutely pampering env. Shaantanu and Khanak learnt their lessons and ways to deal with life in one of the most trying situations... and I guess its time for Natasha... my heart does go out to her... but I just want her to fight like a brave girl and not succumb to it... I would so not like that... if she succumbed!

I like what you have written about the changed audience group wanting to change track/storyline to suit their age group.. i really hope not huge drastic change are made in RBO... why do i feel... like there is a new mother cming for shaan.😕

@ Scholar ji: Didn't know about the demographics there but it is heartening to see 18-35 range indeed for the obvious reasons *lol* ~ I am past 25 and yes, there were times when I had swooned over actors too but my attraction all along has been purely out of acting first and anything else second. And u know from the mutual show that we follow how important the storyline and acting is to me than ratings, dimples, cuteness factor, etc.. 😆 ~

I concur with your thoughts.. Let's stress on CV's sticking to their guns and not giving into the needs of the channel all the time. Once in a while is fine but not all the time.
