Whether there is agni pareeksha or no agni pareeksha, women will never be trusted. in those times, Sitaji gave agni pareeksha but in today's times how can a woman prove that she is pious? the point is tht in any yug, women folk were never respected. If Ravan kidnapped Sita, what was her fault in it? Ramji could not protect her & she could not protect herself. She was a helpless lady.

Sita has been discribed as Ram's ego, someone whom he trusted more than himself. To Rishi Munis he used to introduce Sita as "this is Sita, my irreproachable wife". charu u misunderstood it. Imagine for a sec that Sita failed in AgniPariksha. Imagine what wud hav happened then? The whole world wud hav laughed at Ram. Ram wud hav become biggest joker because he fought this big was for Sita only. If Ram had slightest doubt on Sita he would hav never dared to ask her to give Agni Pareeksha in public. Instead he wud hav aksed her to give pareeksh in private. If he had doubt he must hav feared that Sita might get burned. But there was no fear on Ram's face --- this means that he had no doubt but full trust on her. To understand Ram n Sita love u need to read the entire Valmiki Ramayana without skipping any verse. To interpret anything correctly u shud read the whole book. Half knowledge creates misunderstandings.

Sita was not Praja. she a was queen. She had some limitations on her liberty as queen. A king has more limitations n obligations as king. I'll post abt it. Wife shud help husband to fullfill all his duties because she is his "sahadharmini". Sita did so

Who knows if Sita didn't gave Agni Pareeksha people of this era might hav raised same questions abt her that were raised by people of Treta Yug .If treta yg people can think so imagine what people of this era would hav thought if there were no pareekshas. u urself might hav raised same questions

Second exile of Sita- Ram used to sleep on floor, ate only once a day (uncooked food only ) or sometime nothing for whole day. He spent those days during her second exile hiding his tears n pain from others. He knew this is harsh but necessary so that no one ever raise such dirty questions abt his life Sita. He asked Laxman to leave sita near Valmiki's hermitage because that was a safe place- deviod of any narrow minded people. Sita was pregnent. people were raising question abt her unborn kids. she got tourtured with such questions. That is why he sent her to a unknown place abt which only he n Laxman knew. Ram did nothing wrong

P.S Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki Ramayan are the original sources of Ramayan. If one incident is mentioned in the one and not in the other, therez no way to clarify whether or not it really happened. One can't say Ramcharitmanas is wrong and Valmiki Ramayan is right.

to clear doubts its better to read books with unbiased mind. Book gives accurate knowledge.

in case of any conflict between Ram charit Maanas n Valmiki Ramyana I'll believe what is written in Valmiki Ramyan because Valmiki Ramayan was written by a contemporary. He was there in Treta Yug. Valmiki was granted divine vision by Lord Brahma himself. Gods trust its authenticity. RamCharit Maans was written in 16th century. the infuence of 16th century can be found on his work. He wrote Ahilya was made stone by Gautam rishi but valmiki wrote he was made invisible n she got her form whem Ram entered into the hermitage.. then Ram-laxman touched her feet n then Gautam Rishi accepts her. Valmiki gave a logical description of Setu construction. there was no floating stone. If Ram knew everything then why he cried or got angry so much. In Mahabharata Krishna knew everthing so never cried for anyone or on anything so much.

We dont have answer of this question. To judge the rightness or wrongness of any act u must judge it under the light of prevailing circumstance. wht is right under one circumstance may be wrong under another circumstance. Pls give regard to the prevailing circumstances under which he asked for Agni pareksha.

By agnipariksha he did'nt wanted to prove his wife's purity. As to be king he wanted to prove that to be queen of Ayodhya is pure n is eligible to be queen

well said avinaash. Ram did all these for Sita's honour. Why people misunderstand him? He silently suffered so many things.
