Shri Ram and Jal Samadhi

Hi to all the folks who watch Ramayan enthusiastically like me.....i am Fortune Cookie......I just want to make a small point and this point appeals to my heart and I seek comfort in it.....again many of you might agree to disagrre ....for as you all know there are so many books and so much literature on Ramayan out there.....I am not an expert on how Lord Ram left this world but the best way that makes me feel nice about Lord Ram taking leave of this world is something like this......I have always admired Shri Ram leading a life of dignity...He was very sober and it was with this thought in mind that I like or imagine how he left the world and this is very well depicted in the old Ramayan serial telecasted 20 years ago by Ramanad sagar....Ram did not take Jal Samadhi ...he did go in the water but at the request of Brahma Dev who asked Ram to show his actual "RooP" which is of Lord Vishnu and then Ram went into the water and came out of the water in the actual form of Lord Vishnu and then sat on the"Garud" bird and flew off slowly up into the sky with all the regality and dignity of Lord vishnu.......Yes Laxman took Jal samadhi and went back into the ocean in the form of "Sheshnaag"...this is all shown in the last part of Ramayan telecasted 20 years ago...it was well depicted and this last scene appealed to my heart of how Ram left this world......again everyone has different views and we can only respect it...... enjoy the ramayan serial and thanks to all the folks who take trouble of loading this serial....... thanks.....
