the br chopra version i think was a continuation of the vishnu puran made by them. they had shown the other avatars of vishnu and then did RAMA avatar as sepearate since they had done mahabharat.

Ramayan is a Hindu Epic: Vishnu appears on earth as Ram, to defeat Ravan. But there are many dimensions in the story. Yes it is holy for the Hindus but it is a universal story about love, honor, respect and sacrifice. Anyone can watch it no matter what religion.

No they made a Ramayan serial besides showing the Ram Avatar in Vishnu Puran. They used the same actor though but a different actress if I am not mistaken. 😊

Did they make a Ram avatar. i am sorry i did not know that. i must have missed it. i only watched videos of the vishnu puran till just before the RAM avatar episode.

sorry my mistake. thanks for correcting me. iwill go back and look for the DVd of Vishnu puran. it was an amazingly well done serial in my opinion and extremely informative.
