Colors channel is also in charge of what they show, so the show is pretty authentic to Bhagwad Puran (its main source). Also, the settings, scripts, and actors all make it seem as if it's really Dwapar Yug and we're really watching the life of Shri Krishna.😊
Praful actually has a good chance of being cast in JSK because his role in Shani Dev is small and I'm sure that by the time his role in that serial ends, JSK willl be open for Mahabharat actors.😊 Going by his acting in Shani Dev, and the way he expresses his feelings, he'd make a very good Arjun.😃

lalita his r0le has ended in shani dev

thas why i meant craziness of editing

apparently channel changed its policy

his role was of 15 episodes and it was cut short to 4 episode

last episode had too many cuts which were very much visible

but other than that u r right

the way he expressed his feelings and emotions he cud do well as arjun as arjun is main character in mahabharat

just like indrajeet was in ramayan

but a crazy thought

why not have gurmeet as krishna and praphulla as arjun

it wud be too much of fun then isnt it

😆😆😆

HEY!

Jai Shri Krishna and other serials on colors which are Sagars are actually of SAGAR PICTURES and not SAGAR ARTS...

SAGAR ARTS was the one established by Ramanand Sagar Ji. And its Sagar Arts which gave us Ramayan, Shri Krishna and the new Ramayan.

SAGAR PICTURES is a separate entity set up by Meenakshi Sagar. You can never compare the work of Sagar Pictures with Sagar Arts.

What say? Do you feel that in any way the costumes, sets and actors of JSK are comparable to Ramayan? I dont think so. I guess u also see the difference.

Well, Sagar Arts also extended Ramayan to cover Uttarkand, and we all saw what a fiasco that turned out! I'd never watch anything from Sagar Arts again.

I don't know how Sagar Pictures is, and I only watched a couple of JSK episodes. If what Mathran is saying above is correct, I guess it could be good news. But going so far, I doubt it, given that we've seen bizarre distortions of Vasudev's character profile - just hope it doesn't metastasize into another KHMK.

P.S. Is Meenakshi Sagar related to Ramanand Sagar?

Yes Meenakshi Sagar is Ramanand Sagar's daughter in law.

Oh, my bad.😆
Well, let's keep our fingers crossed that Praful makes an entrance in JSK, at least for a small role if not a big one.😉

Actors wise, definitely JSK is comparable and even better. No 3 year old could act as well as Dhrtii Bhatia did for Young Shri Krishna.😍 It's not astounding to see adults act well, but to see a mere three year old toddler live the role of Krishnaji the way sweetie pie Dhriti did is beyond astounding. That girl kept JSK in the top 5 of the TRP chart ever since she appeared in the serial.⭐️👏
As for sets and costumes, both serials presented them in a way appropriate for the Yuga and settings. Ramayan took place in palaces in the beginning and end, so yes they had grander costumes and jewellry, but Yashodaji and Nandji were not royalty. They lived in the village of Gokul and later on, Vrindavan, so to give them as grand costumes as Ramayan people would not be appropriate. The women in JSK are given the perfect kind of jewelry and costumes, enough to make them seem from a higher class but still look like village women.😊
As for sets, both Ramayan and JSK are pefect there. Ramayan sets made it seem like Treta Yuga and JSK made it seem like Dwapar Yuga.
As for authenticity, JSK wins hands down.👏 The stories it shows about Shri Krishna are sooooo deep and spiritual.
The Sagar Arts Old serials were more authentic than the new ones now, but so far Sagar Pictures has taken its serials better than the New Sagar Arts in terms of authenticity and spirituality. The Maha Raas Leela in JSK for example was beyond words and soooo spiritual.😃

Like I said above, JSK is also with its own share of bloopers, like every other mytho serial, but they are not to the same high degree as Ramayan's Uttar Kand, and right now the serial is moving smoothly and sticking like honey to Srimad Bhagavatham.😊 And as younger Shri Krishna's phase is completed in the serial, the story is not moving towards Kans Vadh. In the latest episode, Shri Krishna and Balram received an invitaion from Akrur (on behalf of Kans) to come to Madhura for the yagna celebrations...and Shri Krishna vowed to rid the Earth of sinful people like Kans. This is where JSK hinted that it would also do Mahabharat, because Shri Krishna then said that with the help of the Pandavas, he would rid the Earth of arrogant sinful Kings.
I too hope it doesn't become something like KHMK, but I seriously doubt that given the previous episodes I've seen and the careful way in which Meenakshi Sagar is handling the show.

Hi Guys,

In the latest episode of Jai Shri Krishna, the Sagars' mytho on Colors, it has been hinted that JSK is going to be extended to the Mahabharat period. Previously, it was going to end at Kans Vadh, but due to its high popularity, and its TRPs always being in the top 10, the Sagars are sincerely considering extending the serial to the whole life of Shri Krishna.😃
Being a great fan of this serial, I am really excited by this news.😛 I also found it funny that since all of us have been discussing (previously) who should be typecast in the roles should the Sagars ever do a Mahabharat serial, our hopes are being answered now as JSK itself might be extended instead of creating a whole new serial.😊 However, I doubt every actor from Ramayan (like we used to discuss) would be in the serial, but I do hope we see some familiar faces.
I especially want Praful Pandey as Arjun or Bheem, as it would give him a totally different role from the one he played in Ramayan, and Gurmeet to be Duryodhana or Karna so that it would give him a chance to do a more negative role from the one he played here. I'd prefer it if he is chosen as Karna though, because I hate the character of Duryodhan and not like seeing him in too much of a negative role. At least Karna had a good side to him.😊

Thank u so much di for this great news!!

You know, at the rate JSK is going, I'll probably be watching the final episode with my grandchildren. 😆
