Actually, that can have different meanings as we don't know how old you are.😉😆

I think Vibs will be a great-grandmom by the time they get to the Swarna-Kamal adventures on the Tamil dubbed version on SunTV (yeah, I dunno how old she is either) 😆- if they are showing just 1 hour weekly, and they are right now on Rama crossing the bridge.

Just kidding, Vibs, but these things can be really slow. 😛

Exactly. I don't watch it, but when did it start? Kamsa should have been done by now, and Krishna should have either been studying w/ Sudama, or fighting Jarasandha.

Incidentally, this can be a 12 year project (to match the Pandava vanvas minus gyatvas) w/o adding anything, as one would have had to do in the Ramayan khichri. You have the current story-line, then you'll have the schooling of Krishna and Sudama, then his 17 wars w/ Jarasandha, his shifting of his people from Mathura to Dwaraka, the marriage to Rukmini, the entire Swayamtaka muni saga and the marriages to Jambavati and Satyabhama, Krishna's other marriages, the birth and abduction of Pradhyumna, the killing of Shambara by Pradhyumna, Krishna's many skirmishes w/ Shishupala, Krishna @ Draupadi's swayamvara, Krishna w/ the Pandavas converting Khandavprastha to Indraprastha, Arjuna's exile and marriage to Subhadra (no, I don't expect Uloopi and Chitrangada to be shown here), Krishna w/ Arjun and Bhima at the killing of Jarasandha, Yudhisthir's Rajasuya yagna, killing of Shishupala, invasion of Dwaraka by Shalva, war between Pradhyumna and Shalva, Krishna's return and the killing of Shalva, Krishna @ Draupadi's vastraharan, his occasional company w/ the Pandavas, abduction of Duryodhan's daughter Lakshmanaa by Jambavati's son Samba, Balaram rescuing both of them, Krishna's war w/ Purandara Vasudeva and the ruler of Kashi, Krishna's war w/ Narakasura, Anirudha and the elopement w/ Usha, Krishna's war w/ Shiva over Banasura, Krishna's raising Abhimanyu and Draupadi's sons, other tales of Krishna like the Tulabharam episode, Abhimanyu's marriage to Uttara (nice way to segway back into the Mahabharat), Duryodhan and Arjun approaching Krishna for support, Krishna's peace proposals @ Hastinapur, Krishna's encounter w/ Karna, Krishna delivering the Gita sermon to Arjun (that itself could take a month, if not a year), the war itself, highlighting Arjun, Krishna, Abhimanyu and Satyaki's exploits (incidentally, wanna throw in the past history of Satyaki and Bhoorishrava in for completeness?), Krishna saving the Pandavas on night 18 from Ashwatthama's massacre, Krishna being cursed by Gandhari after the war, Krishna's visit to Hastinapur after the war and revival of Parikshit, the Ashwamedha yagna, Krishna's episode w/ Utanga, return to Dwaraka, Samba's prank on Durvasa & Vishwamitra (dude, those Yadavas had balls 😆), the fracticide @ Purvasa, Arjun escorting the survivors out of Dwaraka and coronation of Anirudha & Usha's son Vajra as the ruler of Mathura, w/ Subhadra as his regent/caretaker.

I have 2 opinions on where this should end - should it be w/ Vajra's coronation @ Mathura, or should they go on to show the Pandavas crowning Parikshit and their final journey to swarga, which included a tirth to Dwaraka, Arjuna returning his Gandiva to Varuna, and the ultimate re-union w/ Krishna. Also, do you think they should show how it ended for Krishna's wives? From what I read, some of his wives, like Rukmini & Jambavati, committed self-immolation, some others like Satyabhama took vanvas, while the 16,100 wives that he rescued from Narakasura drowned themselves in the Saraswati river. Do you think they should/would show it, or would they leave that open ended, like the fate of UMS in the Ramayan?

It started last year in July. About a year and 230+ episodes later: Kans is still alive and Krishna hasn't even left for Mathura.

With the Ramayan, you'd have had to pull stuff out of all sorts of sources to make a khichri. But that wouldn't be necessary here - all the things I've mentioned above would be blown up and take so many episodes that it would take 12 years to complete, and that w/o collecting stuff from other places. And note - I'm not even including all the Mahabharat in this, just the Krishna involved parts.

Yes, Dhriti was the star of JSK!⭐️ But Meghan Jadav (teenage Krishna) is doing a great job as well. Did you see the Maha Raas Leela episode? It was very well taken, though Kritika (teenage Radha) is an average actress.

🤣

I was wondering if I was great grand mom, then what would Vrisha be . . .

Just kidding 😊

And yes, I did notice a bit of drag in the serial but certain things I never understood - like Krishna going to meet Devaki when she was sick in prison - they made it look as if she was was going to die.

Did all this really happen?

Certain scenes like Lord Shiva coming to see the baby Krishna was really beautiful. I like the discussions going on between Narad and Sri Vishnu.

By the way, the Tamil version is much more behind the Hindi version. So I wonder what comment Vrisha Bhaiya has for me - the asura who looks like a bull has just been killed if I am not mistaken.
