The only divine act that Rama performed prior to meeting Parashuram was reviving Ahalya! One has got to admit that this was a feat unachievable by normal humans: therefore, Parashurama's avatar must have ended long before, maybe when Rishi Kashyap asked him to end his genocide of Kshatriyas. Also, in 1-15-18:21, Brahma clearly asks Vishnu to take birth as humans. Vishnu in response tells them that he will reside in the human world and rule it for 11000 years 1-15-27:30.

Your other explanation about why the devas would want Rama back despite Vishnu being in Vaikuntha does sound credible. I'm however not sure that I'm totally convinced. If Vishnu could clone himself in different places and make everyone happy, who would have objected, and more importanly, would such an objection have been sustained?

Thanks for reminding about Ahalya. I was referring to the fact that in a short span of time his divinity was exhibited even though Ram was not conscious of it. That probably signalled the start of the new avtaar and was fully acknowledged by Parasuram's defeat.

The explanations on why the Devas want Ram back was completely my guesses. A better explanation may exist somewhere. Yes, I agree it does not sound completely convincing. Even I felt that there was something missing there.

I'm not sure if an such an objection would have been sustained or not but I don't think the Devas or more importantly Devi Lakshmi would have been happy. Whether it is a clone or a part of Lord Vishnu or Lord Narayan himself, just the original person will be preferred.

Well, Krishna did such a feat and throughout this avtaar I think he was in multiple places in many incidents. Lord Narayan too had done that - in Kurma Avtaar - he was there as Kurma, Mohini and Vishnu. I'd guess short term multiple forms are preferred to clones. 😉

I will continue to discuss the more credible parts of the episode here, and reserve the discussion of the fictional stuff for the written updates, whenever they appear. That way, this forum won't look insane🤪🤪🤪

In today's episode, there was a really sweet and touching moment😍 Rama was standing above an open fish pool and feeding the fishes (a lovely innovation in treta yuga Ayodhya 😆😆😆) Then he sees an image of Sita in the pool worrying and asking him about how she would manage the kids. In Laksman's room, Lakshman is feeding his kids😍😍😍 (wonder why no Urmila there? But I won't wonder why she isn't doing the feeding, lest I be accused of male chauvanism/sexism/patriarchy 😵) Rama comes in and Lakshman washes his hand, gets up and asks Rama what's up. He asks Rama if he is supressing his feelings, or hiding something, and Rama tells him that he never hides anything from him. Then one of Lakshman's kids asks why bada-pita hasn't eaten, while the other kid triumphantly tells Lakshman that he has finished eating. Rama then has a special request for Lakshman - he asks him to look after Angad and Chandraketu well.😍

Those Urmila-nandan kids today looked soooooo cute😍😍😍 Hope to see photos of them in one of the clubs. (This is one of the things on my wish list that the Sagars listened to, so thanks for small mercies👏👏👏)

Vibs - nice reasonings for your Ramavatar end...... The second one seems much more apt, bcoz only if Ramavatar ended, the treta yug would also end thereby giving way to a new yug, generation of people and rakshasas..........
Today's episode was so funny and cute.......Luv Kush kill Takshaketu just by mere tickling and a few stones falling on him. 🤔❓ But I wonder why they even tickled them, once the rakshas fell asleep, they could have escaped????!!!!
Ram-Lakshman scene was nice, and the kids were cute. I too wonder where was Urmila? 😔

Coming to the discussion of Avatar, I have this from the internet: God can become incarnate in many places at the same time through "partial" avatars (amshas), while the main form from which the avatars emanate remains entirely "full" and can converse with the "partial" forms.
I guess this is the case that has been shown ie VL in Vaikunth and RS in Bhulok, Vishnu conversing with Sita et all.
Reg. Mohini, I feel Mohini decieving Asuras & Shiva Mohini drama may have occurred in sequence and the Bhasmasur story would have been separate. Shiva knowing how enticing Vishnu was as Mohini may have sought His help wrt Bhasmasur.

It sounds logical. I didn't find any references to time frame.

Did she live there before all this happened? What was the time frame for all these events? The Shabhari Hill (Sabari Malai) is in present day Kerala.

The kabandh Vadh episode and Shabri Ashram are in the modern Belgaum district of Karnataka, and Rishyamukh mountain, Kishkindha etc. are in the Hampi district. So that making it all in Karnataka. The below picture indicate an approximate location of these.
In this picture, 9 indicates places of Kabandh & Shabari, while 10 indicates Kishkindha, Rishyamukh etc.
But in the history of Sabarimala, it says that Lord Ayyappa shot an arrow to determine where his temple should be built and the arrow landed in Sabarimala where Sabari of Ramayana did penance. But I wonder if Rama & Lakshmana would have come all the way south and again gone back north towards kishkindha in Hampi.....
