Thanks. Now to get the time to read all this which is why we have the Sagars to paraphrase it in the form of a TV show. 😆😆😆

Thanks for all the details.

Mandodari

The great thing about the Sagars is that by claiming to base their stories on all these, they have plausible deniability on anything, since nobody, even here, is likely to have read all the versions listed above. So if anybody challenges something, the Sagars can always claim that it's in a version that they haven't read. Brilliant! 😆😆😆

If all the above works were provided in original with English translations, like the online Valmiki Ramayan, then I'd find the time to read all that 😆 Of course, I'd have to disappear from here for that to happen. 😆

Hey friends,

I have an additional info. on Navaratri, just found it on the net....

Navratri is celebrated four times a year during the first nine days of the month:-
Chaitra (March/April) for spiritual knowledge,
Ashad (June/July) for education,
Asoo/Sharad (September/October) for relief from suffering and
Maha/Magha (January/February) for health.
I am guessing by the beginning of the month, they mean Amavasya....

Deepika (?),
now we saying Navratri 4x a year!!!!!!!!????????????
Well said in my earlier post, we only celebrate twice a year, the Charta and the Sharad Navratri. dont know bout the others. mayb they r celebrated in diff states

🤣 I wouldn't put it past you to bury yourself at home with all of these translations and try to find something the Sagar's showed wrong.😉🤣

U all r welcome......
But then coming to the story development and onscreen sequences based on all these versions, I have a serious doubt, is it the Sagars who script it or is it NDTV Imagine Team?
