Yes, I forgot that gold scene....but Hanuman going behind kids singing Rama Naama was not that unacceptable, bcoz he is bound by Rama Naama.
Thanks Chandra & Vibs for the Ram - Hanuman encounter...

I agree. The gold scene was a bit weird.😕 It did not make sense. Why would the Avadhis give their gold for a statue of the same Sita they did not want as their queen?
But I found the Hanuman scene cute.😳 Though it did not really happen, it was sweet how they showed Hanuman being bound by Rama Nama. As the saying goes, where there is Hanuman, there is Ram and where there is Ram, there is Hanuman, meaning that if you're praying to one, you are automatically praying to the other because Ram and Hanuman are inseperable.
But I did not like how they showed Sita planning the whole thing with going back to Bhoomi Devi.😕 It did not make sense and made it seem like Sita was eager to leave her husband and children.

When I saw the citizens giving their gold to Ram, I felt that it was a bit too much off the story. If they citizens really repented for what they did, Ram could have very well called Sita back with due honour. This was one of the stories that followed the original script of Lakshman leaving Sita in the forest and not Sita convincing Ram to let her go. 😕

Hanuman and the kids was a bit funny . The twins were hurling insults at Ram who stood facing them. Hanuman jumps in and proclaims that he would never allow anyone to insult hi Lord and then the other kids sing about Ram. He follows the kids leaving Ram flabbergasted at this.

But Hanuman - Sita meeting was cute. 😊

Ok this might be a silly question but does anyone know what happens to the wives of Bharat, Shatrughan and laxman after the brothers leave for Vaikunt with Ram.

They most likely passed on between Sita's passing and the 3 rajmata's passing. In other words, they were not around.

I too wondered what happened to UMS? There is no mention of them in most of the versions atleast. Hope its shown in the Sagar version atleast 😉.
Also are they also any divine kanyas born as UMS? Bcoz if BLS are Vishnu's conch, bed and discus themselves, their wives also are not probably just mere mortals, right?

But I like how his brothers are just as noble as their elder brother and married once. I didn't know Shatru was the discus and Bharath the conch. Interesting no wonder the four are so close. I think they might just be mere mortals wasnt only Sita divine goddess so they might have died mortal deaths. But somehow mentioned that Ram ruled and lived for over 10000 years so did his brothers. But what is confusing is the old Ramayan serial the actors did not age for 10000 years, so when the wives died how old where they.

I recall reading (maybe you could confirm from 7:99) that when KSK died, they were surrounded by their sons and grandsons. No mention of their daughters-in-law. While that may have been a simple omission on Valmiki's part, I think it more likely that they passed on shortly after Sita.

There is a school of thought that says that just as RLBS were parts of Vishnu avatar (there is no mention of LBS being avatars of Seshanag, Panchajanya & Sudarshan chakra anywhere in Valmiki - that seems to be a latter Vyasa era spin on things), similarly SUMS were all parts of Lakshmi avatar. That's what leads me to think that once Sita's role was complete and she left, same would be true about UMS, and they passed on shortly after that. Therefore, the 6/8 kids would have been left in the care of their dadis as far as female guardianship goes, so that once KSK passed on, Rama decided to start transitioning them all for their own kingdoms.
