Vanathil Raaman padhinaanku aanduhal vaazhavum mannanidam varamathai kaetaal.

Due to Manthra's coaxing, a (mind) changed Kaikeyi asked the king for Bharat to wear the crown and for Ram to live in the forest for 14 years.

Andha sollai kaetta mannar marana moorchai adaindha pinnar, Ramanaiyum azhaika seithaal.

After the King fell into a dead faint hearing this, she sent for Ram.

Thandhai unnai vanam pohacholli, thambi Bharathanukku Mahudathai thandhaar endraal.

"Father has told you to go to the forest and gave the crown to Bharat," said she.

Sanjalamillamal anjana vannanum sammadham thaaye ena vanangi sendraan.

Without the slightest uncomfortable feeling (or hesitation), the black hued one said, "I accept, mother," saluted/bowed to her and went (away).

Minjiya kobathal vehunde vill edutha thambi Elakuvanai saantham aakinaar.

He pacified his younger brother Lakshman who due to his overflowing anger had lifted his bow in outrage.

Ilaiyavanum Jaanakiyum nizhal pola thodarave maravuri tharithu Raaman selvathai kandu,

Seeing Ram don the garb of the ascetics with his younger (brother) and Janaki following him like shadows,

True, the song is really mesmerising.

I have had similar experiences with Hindi and Sanskrit songs. Though don't understand perfectly well I make sense with the few words I know.

I don't mind explaining word to word as well. But that would have been tedious for reading and making sense.

Will take some time for the next part of the song - the one they sing in front of the ladies of the court.

The movie was a bit dramatized. I loved the dialogues. Especially the ones from the battle.

The one thing I hated from the few scenes I watched was the citizens of Ayodhya giving their gold to Ram for the statue and Ram accepting it.

Ok Vibs am waiting for that song translation.

This is the song where Lakshmana takes Sita to the forest. Veryyyy emotional.😭
