Well, today, at long last, there was a happy family scene. 👏Since it was a formal setting, what with rishis and all, it couldn't be a free for all hubby congratulating wife, but I did find the looks exchanged between the hubbies & wives really cute. Only thing I missed here - why not have Sumitra & Kaikeyi there as well, since Rama accorded both of them too the honor of rajmatas? I missed them today.

Finally, after so many days, we've finally gotten a happy family together moment. Sadly, though, this is the last😭 so savor this while you can, folks. The other thing I liked about today was using the occasion to announce the pregnancies of UMS, so that all 4 bros could have the same feeling of happiness. Only thing missing - Sumitra & Kaikeyi. Also, the follow up part should have been not just Rama & Sita, but also the other bros & wives thrown in as well, and discussing the new family additions. The Sagars too often alternately display too much, and then too little, imagination.😕😕😕

P.S. What's with the weightwatchers here, ladies?😲 If any of you are pregnant, you can savor it along with SUMS.😆

We all keep wishing for some scenes between husband and wives. I hope they show the sisters teasing each other and the family deciding what they would name the next generation. It would be nice if the husbands try to figure out if their kids will be good or mischievous and their mothers reminding them how naughty they themselves were when they were children. 😉

They've made Shaku n Dushy meet in childhood (boy,oh boy!! Mahakavi Kalidas would say-yeh idea mujhe kyun nahi aaya?!😲😉😆) jokes apart....

Nothing new with this show....they've included their own "invented" stuff like Shaku n Dushy meeting in a yatra...also have some new 'invented' characters to suit to the story.

Well, I hope at least they do justice to the character of Shakuntala,given that she was one of the eloquent women of our epic history. Not many know that when Dushyant denies that the child ,Shakuntala had in her womb was his; Shakuntala gives him a long discourse on Dharma and duties of a king and husband respectively(in his royal court), she comes back and rears her son Sarvadaman -Bharat as a very brave and intelligent child and the rest is history.
