Another thing - Kaikeyi, prior to Dasharath's death, had a history of misbehaving towards Kaushalya & Sumitra, and during those 14 years, did not reconcile with them, until Rama's return. I don't want to violate forum rules by invoking Ramanand Sagar's version, but there, they showed correctly her living isolated, and not in the company of Kaushalya & Sumitra. I don't like the Ayodhya part of the inventions Sagar is coming up with.

From what I recall, Janak (nor his brother) never had any sons, and unlike Dasharath, neither did he want any. Given that he had no male heirs, I'm surprised that he never asked Rama to let him have one of Sita's or Urmila's sons to install as yuvraj of Mithila.
I want the final battle between Rama & Ravan to last over 2 episodes, and I wouldn't mind if the Agni-pariksha was rushed, or even skipped. Just get to Brahma & Dasharath seeing Rama, and then, on their return flight, like Akhl wanted, I hope they show Rama describing to Sita everything that happened between her abduction and her liberation from Ravan.
Yup, Kaikeyi never reconciled with Kaushalya and Kaikeyi during the 14 years: one because she was still wracked by guilt on exiling Ram. And two because that co-wife rivalry was still there. After Rajyabhishek, I think that was when everyone really forgave Kaikeyi, because Ram was made King.
No, neither King Janak or King Kushadvaj had any sons. Both had only two daughters, and were happy that way too.
I agree with Chandra that the final battle should last two episodes, or else it will be too rushed, and the Agni Pariksha should at the most last half an episode. Anything more than that will seem too dragged. I wouldn't mind it happening in a song like the older one either, because I liked it that way. But......one thing I was disappointed in the older one was that they did not show Rama's harsh words to Sita. They just said Ram spoke harsh words to Sita, but they did not clarify.
In this one, I think they should show 3 minutes of Shri Ram speaking harsh words to Sita, 3 minutes of Sita's passionate reply, and then the agni pariksha. After that, Agni should appear and tell Ram of sita's chastity, Ram should say that he always knew of Sita's Chastity and the Agni Pariksha was only to proove it to the whole world. Then Indra Dev and Brahmanji should appear in the heavens, have their conversation with Shri Ram, then Dasharath appears and Shri Ram asks him to forgive Kaikeyi Mata, Indra Dev gives Shri Ram the boon that all the vanaras who died come back to life.
You get the gist of what I'm saying.😊 All in all, I think after Ravan's funeral is done, no more than 3-4 episodes should be used before everyone returns to Ayodhya. Anything more than that will seem dragged, and I want to see Rajyabhishek and Uttar Kand soon.😆
