Lakshman rekha is nither mentioned in Valmiki ramayan nor in Ramcharitramana's aranya kand but the mentioning of lakshman rekha comes in Lanka kanda of Ramcharitramanas
"Mandodari rebukes ravana on his boisterous claims of valour by hinting that his claim of strength and valour is shallow for he could not even cross a small line drawn by Shri Rama's younger brother Lakshmana." (Ramcharitramanas, lanka kanda, 35.1)

We should actually be discussing this issue under Ramayan Disscusion thread posted by vibs.

So if Laxman Rekha is not mentioned in Valmiki Ramayan or in Ramcharitramansa, then why do ppl talk about it, because it happened. didnt it? If it did happen so then why is it not there. Sorry dont want to argue but just want to clarify the matter.

The reason is too bring insult to both lakshman and ma sita because of today's human interpolation and interest🤢 I hate this from bottom of my heart🤢

What is ur view? If it was not in original story why some later writers included it?
What was there intention when they included this concept?

Protecting somebody is never a insult. But its insulting when people blame Sita for crossing Laxman Rekha or maryada Rakha (though originally there was no such things). At that point I found it insulting. Even that dialogue used in Thursdays episode "Stri jab apni maryada laang deti hai to phir waapas nahi jaa sakti" --this dialog was insulting. I found it insulting when people blame only Sita for her abduction.

laxman leaves the cottage in anger beacuse Sita says some hurtful words to him. He didn't draw any laxman rekha.

lakshman rekha is only a modern adaptation, i mean like fairy tales keep on having something new added to them, its that way.
i've never read about laskhmana rekha in any ramayana(by remowed authors)

This is one of those facts that only becomes obvious when brought to ones attention. I too was never aware of this particular one. Just as a lot of people are unaware that Kush/Luv fighting Rama's army wasn't there in Valmiki.

Anyway, what other suggestions do we have so far? Maybe have Sita and Lakshman too speak to Dasharath when he appears?

Isn't it that way in the epic?
It would be good if Dasharath speaks to Lakshman and Sita too.

If it is true that when Sitaji went to exile again and all the other 3 sisters of Sitaji went to Shri Ramji and asked Him to gve them exile too, then it would be nice to see in the serial. as not many ppl know about this. and in this way, we will get to see some interaction between Ramji and his sister-in-laws and his brothers.

Dear Sagars,

Thank u for such a wonderful serial. Now it is the turn of Ram Sita going to spend their life in Ayodhya. I req u to plz show how much does Ram has taken pain to send Sita for exile (In my circle, I know many persons abusing Ramayan & Lord Ram for this incident.) I don't know whether our senior members and friends of this forum have already posted this.
I also have another suggestion. If possible, picturize Lord Ram in such a way that he always chat with Sita Mata (in his mind) so that it will be revealed that their hearts are always together ( the same way with Sita Mata). I don't know whether my friends have asked u previously in this way, if so I'm sorry for posting u again
