I have sent PM to Yummys regarding a new banner contest. But should we have banner contest now or should we wait to see who will be playing the roles of Valmiki, Luv and Kush?

I am going to contact global mods and admin to find if animated banner can be put. Now that Luv-Kush kand will be shown, the following characters must be displayed in the banner:-

Luv, Kush, Valmiki, Ram, Sita, Laxman, Bharat, Shatrughn, Urmila, Mandavi, Shrutakirti, Kaushalya, Sumitra, Kaikeyi

As you can see, I have put the names of the family members of Lord Ram. This is because when Sitaji was banished, then the entire family was in gloom. So, it is important to put all of them.

Later, during war with Luv and Kush, some more characters were also involved - Sugriv, Jambvant, Hanuman. Rather than changing banner again and again, it will be good if they are also put in the new banner that will be put.

Of course, in Luv-Kush kand, the rakshasas will not be shown. But they are very important part of Ramayan. Therefore, it will not be good if they are removed altogether. So, they should also be included. At least Ravan, Kumbhkaran, Vibhishan, Indrajit must be there (others may be ignored). So put them too.

As we see, there are so many important characters. If all of them are put inside a standard banner-size, then the banner will be very cluttered. Therefore, we can have one of the following options:-

1. Only some of characters will be visible at a time. The banner will automatically be scrolling.

2. Only some characters will be visible at a time. After a few seconds, the display will change and next set of characters will be shown.

hi everybody

as promised i talked to mr srivastav today who is production head at sagars and as mallika told his name appears in the beginning in the name credits

ok the good news is ramayan is still on and they wud show luv kush kaand definately for sure and it wud run soon after ram rajyaabhishek they wud show that.

this is an awesome news, thanks so much chatter

i told also this one that ppl want gurmeet to interact with fans and he said gurmeet is very busy and asked me if he had come to forum i said yes on two occassions but left one msg and gone

he said he wud tell gurmeet to come to forum and talk with all and also i told him abt our sadness why indrajeet was not given proper funeral

u guys showed so much of prahast but indrajeet was yuvraaj why his body was shown just with ravan crying where were the rest of the ppl

i told him not becoz indrajeet was our favourite character but becoz of him being yuvraaj some more cud hv been shown

he said u wantd all that i said yes why not

he also agreed indrajeet role was extended becoz we loved his character

also in ramayan story it was this about sulochana getting arm of indrajeet

i said yes i had heard about it but was glad to see it also though saddened that our hero had to go

i also asked gurmeet role wud be less now isnt it if sita goes to valmiki ashram for luv kush birth

he said story wud run parallel but i wud definately request gurmeet to interact with all

he also said without luv kush story ramayan doesnt end so it wud continue

and ya i told him this also ppl love gurmeet here he said ya he looks like body builder and i joked that indrajeet looks more like body builder and he laughed so much and said rakshas have to look like that and gurmeet ankit and praphulla were allowed to use gym regularly and they have to maintain their fitness

i also told him praphulla came to forum and interacted with all of us for close to 3hrs and all are happy and want gurmeet now

he said he wud tell gurmeet about this

also i requested him once again to show one hr special soon after rajyabishek and lets see interactions btween all actors and we want to see faces behind the scene behind the getups

he said they r working on it

here as ramayan forum member i want to request all to please maintain peace here and no infighting stuff as ppl from show r constantly checking the forum so it doesnt look good to see fights like this

this is an awesome news, thanks so much chatter, sp thanks for taking all the pains of calling mr srivastav and confirming. it will be great to see the uttarkand and debina as a mother of lav and kush and the administration of Ram, all the great stories of is administartion, the biref perio od happiness they ahd together as king and queen.

and it was really nice of you to point out indrajeets funeral thing, taht it was not shown in a royal way. BTW: i think sulochana will become a sati, i dont remember, but if thats so, wont they show it?can u ask that ?

it would be nice to see gurmeet in forum, perhaps it would be nicer if we can set up a chatting meeting wid him where he would reply! and then we can all come online then.

PS: it was great that you guyz made prafulla come online and chat for so long, but i missd it, so if its on If, can some one give me the direct link from where his posts start? if it was in yahoo can some one post the chat transcript?
