maya sita asked ram 2 marry him whn he asked her 2 ask 4 a boon. since in tht incarnation he was eka patni vratha he promised 2 marry her whn he wud come 2 earth as srinivasa.
but again there r other versions too which say maya sita was draupadi in her next birth. the king is not sure which of the above is true. this is metioned in Brahmavaivarta Purana. can anyone shed sum light on this?

King, u are correct your majesty. Many puranas have different versions of the same epic. According to Part 1 of the Srimad Bhagavatam (all Vishnu avataars are written about in the 1st part and there are 33 of them) Uttara Khand does not exist. The narration stops with Ram's coronation after he returns from Lanka.
Srinivasa/Balaji (another avaatar of Vishnu) comes to marry Padmavati. She is said to be the incarnation of vedavati, in Kali Yug. Srinivasa is the presiding deity in Tirupati. He comes in the beginning of kali Yug to marry her. There is a very interesting story that even the temple literature writes about. You can buy this in Tirupati stores. The story of how that temple came to exist is called Sthul Puran.
Here is the Sthul Puran of Tirupati:
Sage Brighu, one day, goes to Brahma Lok but Brahma does not notice him. He then goes to Kailash and Shiv does not notice him. By then Sage Brighu is very angry with this neglect. He, then, goes to Vaikunt. There Lord Narayana is talking to Maha Lakshmi and does not notice him either. He gets so angry that he kicks Mahavishnu in the chest. Immediately, Mahavishnu falls at Brighu's feet and asks his forgiveness. He holds on to the feet of Brighu that kicked him. What Sage Brighu does not know is that Mahavishnu, while holding his feet that Sage Brighu used to kick, closes an eye that Brighu has on his feet. This eye is the "eye of ego."
Without knowing that Vishnu has destroyed his ego Brighu is very happy and leaves Vaikunt. Now, Mahalakshmi is watching this. She gets very angry with Mahavishnu because instead of scolding Brighu, Mahavishnu fell at his feet. Especially, when Brighu kicked Vishnu's chest where Mahalakshmi resides. She gets angry and leaves him and comes down to earth.
Mahavishnu follows her to earth and he does penance for many years. While doing penance an ant hill grows around him. A cow comes to the ant hill every day and empties her udder into the ant hill . The cow belongs to the Chola King of South India called Thondamaan. The cowherd who is in charge of the royal cows complains to the King that this particular cow has no milk to give every day. The King asks the cowherd to follow the cow and find out the reason. The cowherd does and finds the cow emptying the milk into the ant hill. The cowherd gets angry and throws his axe at the cow. The Lord comes out of the ant hill and takes the blow and gets injured. The cow herd dies for his sin of trying to harm the cow and hitting the Lord. King Thondamaan comes to know about it and comes to the anthill. He falls at the feet of the Lord and asks for forgiveness. The Lord blesses the king and tells him he will be born as Akasha Raja and the Lord himself will marry his daughter.
The Chola King Thondaman is reborn as Akaasha Raja. He has a daughter called Padmavati. Padmavati is said to be the reincarnation of Vedavati. The Lord keeps his promise to Vedavati when he made her a promise during the Ram avaatar. The Lord comes as Srinivasa. He was taken care of by one Vakula Devi. She is said to be the reincarnation of Yashoda. In Dwapara Yug, Yashoda was said to be very upset because she did not see Krishna marry Rukmini. So, she is reborn in Kali yug to see the Lord marry Padmavati. He marries Padmavati and is residing with her blessing his devotees at Tirupati.
