while there is always conflict between few things which is mentioned in ramcharitramanas and not in valmiki ramayan like shabri giving jhuta fruit to ram, chhaya sita, lakshman rekha e.t.c while there is many things which is mentioned in valmiki ramayan and not in ramcharitramanas. we all believe in authenticity of these two sources but if we start argumenting on those things it will never end. just the matter of what ppl beleve. if u belive in chaya sita u will find strong reason to belive and if u don't then also u will find strong reason 4 ur support

Thats one more contradiction between Valmiki Ramayan and Ram Charit Maanas. According to former book Parvati was consort of Shiva during the period of Ramayan. Sati's departure took place much before the start of Ramayana. On the other hand according to the later book Sati was Shiva's wife during Ramayan. Ram- Sati story is nowhere mentioned in Valmiki Ramayan. Lord Shiva destroyed Kama dev after Sati's departure, then after some time Naarad defeated Kam dev. This developed ego in him. To make Naarad ego free Lord Vishnu created Vishwanmohini. Naarad got attracted to her n wanted to marry her. Then waht hapened we all know. It was shown in this Ramayana. Then Naarad curses Lord Vishnu that he'll get separated from Laxmi for one year in Treta yug. So how Sati can be there in Ramayan

hey rajnish after reading your pts.. somewhere i feel chaay sita concept was very much there my reasons and my beliefs on the ques you raised on Valmiki Ramayan.........is that....
if the thing being revealed that Sitaji was not there in ashok Vatika instead Chaaya sita was there then ppl. of that time must come to conclusion that Ramji was not any ordinary human being but a god.... who has knownledge of future prediction.... which could be avoided if Ramji want
and this thing might be revealed rite now just because we ppl are already aware that he is a god, who come to earth to tell human beings how to live in Maryada...and if Luv Kush came to know that their father is a God then they might ques.. why he stopped all such situation...
Regarding sitaji has to get in agni dev...i feel that only agni dev is perfect b'coz...... agni is the purest of all it can kill the impurities but if we talk of water god and air..... then they have property of all impurities and purities get dissolve with them easily.. if we consider human being made of paanch tatv and i believe agni is purest among all...which is all i get out from this lila of Ramji, and regarding luxury.... what would u say how a wife will feel that she is all in luxury and still her husband fighting for her..........., i think sitaji must be feeling same as mandavi or urmila as they have to live in Rajmahal but there husbands are in vanvaas....

but yes here is one ques always thr.. how others came to know this when valmikiji not written it, might came to conclusion after considering various aspect again and again but it will still remain a ques...............

All I want to say is that different versions narrate the same story in different way. When some writer or poet didnt like some fact they modified it.

Say according to Aadhyaatma Ramayana Sita's abduction has been described as "When Seetha transgressed laxman rekha and came out of it to offer alms to Ravana, in Brahman sanyaasi's guise, she in her fear fell down on ground, then Ravan cleaved the earth with his nails, uplifting that clod with his hands and with a balancing act put it in the air-chariot, and quickly went away in skyway...'
While some versions say Lord Ram hid the real Sita and placed a maya Sita in the cottage. This deceptive Seetha is continued until her self-immolation after war then real Seetha emerged out of the pyre instead of this maya Sita.

My personal view is that Sita doesnt need either protection of Agnidev or protection from Agnidev. I feel that chaya Sita concept lessens the greateness of Sita. According to this concept Sita in reality didnt't face Ravan. One who gives the test in realily n beconmes successful in it is the real winner

Sita is considered as great amongst all women because she actually faced Ravan and remained firm in her dharma.
