Mohit---what you feared is going to come true! He talked about entering politics. Saying that junta decide karegee ki mein neta banne ke kaabil hoon ki nahi..basically he wants to be a "people's representative". He wants to settle down in marriage and then think about career

Nobody denies/disputes the effects of such a tragedy on a family, but repeatedly making a public exhibition of the grief is deplorable. It is five years since that happened... Does he still need to say the oft-repeated dialogues one more time??

I agree somewhat....I do think its been over stretched.

Though I also think that because people are still talking about his past.......so he also is trying to explain that past with his father's death - as a premise in which all the events happened.......God knows whats the truth, maybe he used to dope once in a while like college boys and that instance drew him to drugs and reflected on his relationships.....God knows how that frustration impacted him....

anyways it seems to be that one specific year or his life....when he went beserk ....we are still asking him explanations for that one year...and he still is defending himself for that year...!

I think that this is a balanced answer... the ways of the rich and famous are different, of course. He did drugs (perhaps because of the stress) and is still hounded for it. And, perhaps there will be such an innocent explanation for the wife-beating as well...

IMO, however... I think that he'd have a better shot at erasing his history from the public mind-set by doing worthier things than lamenting about his past. For instance, had he invested some efforts in doing some good work, its impact would probably be felt more deeply than his persistent whining (which honestly sounds fake, even to you).

After watching todays episode I find Rahul pakao and the girls utterly dumb (earlier I thought they are just fake) and thats why they are all so chalu coz they have no intelligence, it reminded of what Priyadarshini said when she got eliminated, ".........yeh ladkiyan jinke pass actually koi dimaag nahin..............."

ok here is my two cents in this conversation
1) when he was high on drugs, he was depressed....that is a normal reaction for some ppl who can afford drugs.....if u have never done drugs, u will never know how easily u forget ur probs cuz all of ur energy goes in finding and obtaining those drugs. i do not think it was right but i can totally understand why he did what he did. As a physician, i see this happening daily and it is not unusual.
2) I dint know anything about him or his father until i started watching this show .. ....every1 has ups and downs in their lives and people should learn from their mistakes......I do not know if he has learned from his mistakes or he is just putting up a face......We all have made mistakes in the past, and celebrities have a hard time hiding theirs as cameras follow them everywhere n they r being judged everywhere.......I m sure, i will be pissed if someone keeps bringing my mistakes on my face everytime i want to put behind them......
3) Fardeen Khan was also caught using cocaine n y nobody brings that topic up?
4) For some people, it is therapeutic to talk about the death of their loved ones.........I felt like he was sitting in AA meetings n just coming clean......
5) Finally, i think TV is his bread n butter for now....so if he can make money for daily life things then Y not......
6) i dont know most of the girls.....but I m so glad SONIA was not in top 4...that girl was a drama......
7) NIKUNJ - i think she will make a good wife but not for Rahul. She is elegant n composed.....but they both r not compatible....it is very obvious for viewers to see.
8) DIMPY - i think she is good match for him....she can keep his interest as she is spontaneous
9) HARPREET - i know every1 keeps saying she is diplomatic n watches what she says........if it is true....hats off to this girl who mastered it at such a young age cuz i can assure u that most ppl do not master this technique all their lives........i think she is also a good match cuz i hardly ever heard her saying anything bad about others..........i think it is a good quality to think before u speak....
10) RAHUL - ofcourse he wants his 15 mins of fame n clear his image for his future.........he wants to be a politician n he is cleaning up his image beautifully for his future......i dont know if he will win an election but def he has gained sympathy for him......
