It is tragic that at a time when the entire world is looking towards us, appreciating the principles of Eastern philosophy and culture as a source of wisdom, which stands for something not only traditional but also spiritual, which exhibits the human insights with a broader perspective, now we are trying to downgrade our Puranas and religious beliefs in such a way!! Is it not questionable if someone produces and spread the wrong culture to the global viewer?? Fiction based serial makers have the liberty to produce and project what they want, but if you are dealing with a highly spiritual and religious story like this RK serial or Mahabharat, one has to be very very careful! It represents a few generations' belief, carries with it a specific historical significance! Krishna was a God of Love, a preacher of wisdom, an able administrator and a leader who could define and decide the entire mankind's fate at that time, a Purna Avatar. How he will be an obsessive lover, behaves like a stalker for a girl who asked him repeatedly to move away from her?
Krishna came to earth at a crucial juncture, with a specific mission! Society was in confusion regarding morals and ethics at that time, Royals were obsessive for power and commoners were too eager to grab the wealth which wasn't theirs. To take corrective measures, God himself arrived to define, to teach the righteousness to humanity.
The Brindavan stay, his initial years were very crucial for Krishna, it was an evolution which has to move on the right path. The human society was on the move, whose destiny is to grow and expand the culture, to produce the progressive society, reconstruct it as history for the future generations, a history that was a significant series of events which constitute a destiny, a movement towards specific temporal goals for the society as a whole! As a child, he has shown his divinity in many ways, but at the same time, adjusted himself as a child in the lap of a cowherd mother, attracted the women folk with his music and dancing skills, spent tantalizing nights on the Yamuna bank with his beloved Radha, adored her endlessly, and adorned her as an important part of his Self, never bothered about her husband , neither Radha nor Krishna , and to be precise not even that Ayan!
The fabricators of such historical and spiritual events here easily forgot, that their selection of ' significant events" [ such as Radha willingly marries Ayan, Vrish's vachan, Ugra's selective blindness,never-ending Durvasa tapasya [ for what , only to curse the Gods and Godheads!!] Krishna as a reckless watchman and Radha as a girl with limited brain,a confused soul from beginning to end!!] which were only useful to move their story forward, largely by the need to justify the story they invented, forgetting that they are dealing with a highly spiritual and romantic aspect of God and Goddess!
Friends, here the actual clash is between the materialists and the spiritualists, materialists will accept what creates interest in their mind is right and correct, but spiritualists have specific ideals and some ideas in their mind which are based on their beliefs, which they carry with them along with their heart and soul! Many expressed here that why people are not objecting for this downgrading of Krishna and Radha in this serial ? Now , in each and every episode, they are behaving like lesser humans, which is very painful to see.
