In yesterday’s episode, Radha nearly 3/4 times mentioned Ayan as her Patidev and finally declared him as her Guru, which surprised me, to be precise, shook me to the core!!
The Goddess of love and worship, Radha is represented as the soul of the Lord, the young maiden, who crossed the threshold of marriage, has numerous different facets reflecting that prevailing society’s views on love, sexuality, and marriage.
Radha is not considered to be subservient to Krishna as her love completely enchants him and together they represent the male and female energies of the universe.
Love may be a paradox.... for us! But for Krishna and Radha was a simple and clear bond, it's not like some mundane love affair between a young boy and young girl. There are several ways to look at it, but first, we must understand this point.
Radha is conceptualized as a goddess who breaks the social norms by leaving her marriage and kept that relationship aside and entering into a relationship with Krishna, tried to pursue her love. ... Radha asked Krishna why he can't marry her, the reply came from Krishna as “Marriage is a union of two souls. We are not two entities, we are an equal part of the same soul!”
Marriage is a sacred institution which binds both the woman and man in a lifelong relation. It gives this relation a meaning. When a marriage takes place, two souls are united and this opens new vistas in their lives. This concept is at present ruling the mind of Radha. She accepted her marriage with Ayan as her fate and trying to adjust in it, of course, put some conditions to Ayan and kept him at a distance.
Individuals may marry for many reasons, like legal, social, libidinal, emotional, financial, spiritual, and religious purposes. Whom they marry may be influenced by socially determined rules of incest, prescriptive marriage rules, parental choice, and individual desire.
Historically, in most cultures, married women had very few rights of their own! But Radha never followed any societal norms, she is a free spirit in her own realm, never acknowledged Ayan as her husband and never framed herself in that institution.
Here, Krishna is a stalker and Radha is chasing Krishna away from her whenever Krishna finding a way to reach her, and she is pleading, ordering him to move away from her, and acknowledging Ayan as her husband and declared him even her Guru –don’t know what he taught or will teach her in future!!😲
Another shocking aspect in yesterday’s episode is – that Rishivar astonished at first and expressed his disgust and even questioned Krishna that are you going to wash a woman’s feet? when Krishna declared Radha as his Guru. The cvs are promoting retrograde thinking!
