The theme of both these days episode was one. It is not pratheeksha, it is pareeksha. I am happy Balram is shown as narrator of this story. True Krishna knows everything. He is God,he can reach everywhere. But at that point he is bound by the rules of being a human. So even if you want something, even if you have a goal you have to carve out the path as a human. If you are so sure of the goal, the power to manifest it lies within you and the path will open up. That's how they showed Poothana. Yes she was an attacker. A threat. But Krishna not only eliminated that threat but used that as an oppourtunity to reach his love. In life sometimes oppourtunities comes as threats. The package of oppourtunity will be different. It is your ability to see beyond the package helps you to reach the goal.
That's why he did Leelas. All his actions had reasons. People thought he did it for some purpose, but he had his own purpose. Only those with surrender were given that knowledge. How the Lord himself underwent the tests to show the world yes you can also have eternal love and beautiful relations. He didnt preach, he acted. And that's what makes Rama and Krishna so different. To bring them to his path, their true path. So that he can bring the necessary change in this world. Radha is that one person who is so dear to him. So within the human capabilities Lord will take the tests and show the world the meaning of love.
