Chapter 11

A car halted in front of the hospital, Zoya came out of the car and rushed searching for the entrance followed my that lady. In stress, she fumbled with her steps and was above to fall but the lady held her by her hand incorrect time

Lady: careful dear

Zoya: I'm not aware of this place. I don't know where to go. My Asad...

Lady: calm down, you have to be strong and nothing will happen to your Asad

Zoya just nodded with teary eyes but she was completely shooked from inside with all the occurring.The lady held her hand and lead her towards the reception

Lady: excuse me!

Receptionist: yes, how can I help you?

Zoya(with desperate voice): Asad...Asad Ahmed Khan. He was brought here sometime before

Receptionist(checking the database): Asad Ahmed Khan! Accident case?

Zoya: yes

Receptionist: He has been taken to OT second floor

A chill ran down her spine hearing OT but composing herself and praying for his well being, They rushed towards the OT

Outside the OT :

All already arrived as Razia informed them everything. Dilshad was sitting in the chair nearby with continuous tears rolling down her eyes, Najma was consoling her and also wiping her own tears in between. Dilshad has not said the word from the time they came to know about Asad's accident. Ayaan was waiting near the door for doctor, accompanied by Gaffur who was in between trying to call Zoya

Zoya reached there and shouted

Zoya: Asad! Where is he?

Gaffur and Humeira immediately rushed to her side seeing her miserable condition

Gaffur: Zoya...

Zoya: abbu! Where is Asad? Please take me to him! I want to meet him

Zoya's heartbeat accelerated not getting any response

Zoya(shooking Humeira): How is my Asad? Please tell me something!

Humeira: Baji...

Zoya(frustrated): Have you all gone dumb! Why is nobody telling me about Asad

Razia came towards them to create her drama, seeing Khan Family broken she can't let this opportunity go out of her hands

Razia(rudely): what you wanted to know that whether you were successful in killing him or not?

Zoya: Ammi?

Razia: What do you want! What are you up to! What was the need of putting your evil eye on this happy family

Gaffur (angrily): Razia! Not a word more!

Razia: NO! Today I won't stop! You're being blinded by your love for this cursed girl but I won't let her ruin more lives. As soon as she came into this world within years she gulped her parents and now your son. My husband never realized it but I'm pleading you don't even let her shadow fall on your family. I can't see more lives getting ruined

Humeira: Enough Ammi! Today you crossed all your limits

Zoya just stood there rooted not able to react anything. Razia's words were ringing in her ears, she took two-three steps back looking at Zoya's depressed face

Humeira(hugged her): Baji everything will be fine! You know right it's her habit to talk nonsense

Zoya pushed her away

Zoya: stay away from me!

Humeira: Baji!

Zoya: she's right!

Gaffur: beta listen to me!

Zoya: I said stay away from me! I'm a cursed soul whoever I love will end up in pain

Gaffur: No beta it's not like that

Zoya: IT IS LIKE THAT! First, my parents died and now my Asad is suffering I...I shouldn't have come here...I'm the reason behind all this if I will be here he will suffer more!

With that, she turned to leave but stopped in her tracks hearing a voice

"If you will leave, he will die!"

Razia and others turned around to see Dilshad going towards Zoya

Dilshad: you know when Asad told me about you initially I was not happy, I was worried is he getting used like his father, I didn't want my family to go through that nightmare again but you know he convinced me and while doing I noticed the restlessness in his eyes and I was assured that there can be no other girl in his life other than you and the other day when we came to meet you as soon as he saw you there was a unknown sparkle in his eyes I could see how much he wanted you in his life, when I heard yours and Humeira's talk all my worries flew away seeing your love for him and now I'm telling you all this because you're my Asad life if you will leave (crying) my son will die and beta I don't have the courage to lose my son too

Zoya hugged her crying badly and Dilshad also hugged her bad with tears rolling down her eyes

Dilshad(hugging her): you're not a cursed soul but a blessing of our life after going through a miserable life Allah has to send you to his life has his blessing

Zoya hugged her more tightly hearing that Dilshad's words assured her she is Asad's love she can never be cursed

Zoya hearing Dilshad silently sobbing came out of the hug and wiped her tears

Zoya: please don't cry ammi, kuch nahi hoga Asad ko, he will be fine and trust my Allah Miya he won't do anything wrong with him

Ayaan wiping his own tears from the corner of his eyes came to them

Ayaan: bhabhi is right ammi he will not go anywhere leaving his family

With that, he took both of them towards the chair and made them sit there

Razia was extremely angry seeing all her plans failing miserably and was above to follow them but was stopped by Gaffur

Gaffur: Go Home!

Razia: No I will...

Gaffur(gritting his teeth): I said Go Home or else I will do something which you will regret later

Razia seeing him so angry didn't dare to utter a word

Gaffur: Humeira you go with her, someone should be there to see that she doesn't run her evil mind again

Humeira: Ok Abbu, but please keep on updating me jiju's condition

Gaffur: sure beta

Ayaan saw doctor coming out of the OT

Ayaan: doctor!

Hearing him Zoya and Dilshad got up from their place He rushed towards the doctor Dilshad held Zoya's hand and went towards them

Ayaan: How is my brother? He's fine right

Doctor: I wish I could say that but the injuries are too deep due to the wound in the forehead he has lost lot of blood we are already providing him with blood but the wound needs to be operated ASAP and before that neurologist have to examine him and he only can operate since the matter is critical

Zoya kept her hand on her mouth to control her sob

Zoya thinking, "ya Allah! you can't-do this to me"

Ayaan: what are you waiting for? Make it fast where is the neurologist?

Najma: yes please do anything but save my bhaijaan

Doctor: that's the problem actually since the case is very critical and that too of AAK soon media will get involved so no neurologist is ready to take the case and the experienced one of our hospital is on leave we are trying to contact him

Zoya not able to take it anymore

Zoya(shouting): Allah Miya! What's wrong with this hospital! What kind of excuse are you giving Doctor! My Asad is suffering inside he needs an treatment immediately and your doctors are bothered just about the reputation! Do anything call the best neurologist MY ASAD SHOULD BE OUT OF DANGER!

Ayaan holding her by her shoulder

Ayaan: don't worry bhabhi he will be out of danger (turning towards doctor) My bhaijaan is the main trustee over here he is the one who had built this place but I won't think twice to destroy it if something happens to him because of this stupid reason

Doctor was a bit scared hearing him

Doctor: you have misunderstood my words what I'm telling is his condition is too critical and even if some intern doctors agree we can't trust them and our best neurologist has gone on an emergency leave so we are trying to reach him

Zoya(turning to Ayaan): ab kya hoga Ayaan we have to do something

Lady: maybe I can help

Zoya heard the voice of the same lady who had helped her to reach here

Lady: My brother is a neurologist so he can treat him

Doctor: but madam...

Lady: I heard your conversation but don't worry he has handled many such cases in past so trust me and luckily he's in town for a conference

Doctor: who's he?

Lady: Dr. Arnav Singh Raizyada!

Doctor's eyes widened hearing the name

Doctor: your brother? The Arnav Singh Raizyada! Anjali jha?

Anjali nodded in agreement

Anjali: you start with the pre-surgery procedure by than Arnav will be here

Najma: see still you think you're cursed it's because of you bhaijaan's life will be saved if you haven't brought Anjaliji with you... if she wouldn't have been here my bhaijaan...

Tears welled up her eyes looking at Anjali

Najma(choking with tears): I...

Najma just smiled through her tears, Zoya hugged Najma as Asad had said her once she pretends to be strong but she is the most sensitive person in his family, she sobbed silently on her shoulders

Anjali: I will just inform Arnav

With that, she went from their dialing Arnav's number

On the other side Anjali hurriedly dialed a number, A beautiful lady was folding some clothes when she heard her mobile ringing she smiled seeing the caller id and received it

Khushi: yes di

Anjali: Khushiji! I'm not able to reach chote, it's an emergency i need to talk to him as soon as possible

Khushi: di that's because he mighty be in the middle of the conference! But what's the matter you sound so worried any problems with check in

Anjali: no I'm not in the airport

Khushi: not in the airport? Hua kya hai di?

Anjali sighed and explained everything to her

Anjali: Khushiji chote is needed here

Khushi: Di you don't worry which is that hospital

Anjali: Lifeline Hospital

Khushi: ok di he will be there I will inform my sautan

Anjali: oh yeah I forgot about Aman you please do that!

With that, Anjali hunged up and turned around to see Zoya standing there

Zoya: what happened? What did Dr.Arnav say? Is he coming, right?

Anjali: I tried contacting him but I think he's in a conference but don't worry I have talked to my bhabhi she will contact him for the sure he will be here soon

Zoya(horrified): but what if she won't be able to contact him

Anjali: trust me, if she said then she will! so relax dear and here also authorities are trying to contact senior doctors(cupping her face) so nothing wrong will happen

Zoya held her hand which was cupping her face and squeezed it gently

Zoya: Thank you! This two words can't justify my feelings for what you have done, you are not only saving Asad but also my life, I would never able to repay you for this

Anjali: hey don't be so formal dear I'm just glad that I could help and even if I couldn't you would have managed something to save your love for the sure

Hotel High paradise:

Outside a conference hall, A man was sitting on a couch nearby with a relaxed face accompanied by a sexy lady

Lavanya: so Aman finally you were able to conduct this seminar

Aman: finally!!! Because of all the surgeries lined up, I was not able to manage this seminar in ASR's schedule and all these doctors were already on the verge of killing me for delaying it so much

Lavanya laughed seeing his pitiful face, their conversation was interrupted by Aman's mobile which was ringing flashing Khushi Madam, Aman immediately received the call

Aman: yes Khushi Maam

Khushi: Aman I need to talk to Arnav ji now

Aman got up from his place gulping

Aman(horrified): now? Maam he is in the middle of Doctor's conf...

Khushi: Aman! I will explain you everything later but now pass on the call to Arnavji it's an emergency

Aman: ok ma'am

With that, he rushed inside the conference hall with a sad sigh

Lavanya seeing him going inside and had heard his part of conversation

Lavanya(chuckling): all the Doctors will now for the sure kill him

Inside the hall

A handsome man yes Dr. Arnav Singh Raizyada was talking about the cure for damaged nerves system when was interrupted in the middle by his loyal secretary Aman who rushed towards him with the mobile in his hand

Arnav: What the Aman what's are you doing?

Aman: sorry ASR but Khushi maam is on the line, she needs to talk to you it's an emergency

Arnav(looking at the rest of the doctors): please excuse me!

With that, he took the cell moved towards the corner of room

Arnav: Khushi...

Khushi: before you say anything, hear me out... (with that she explained him everything)... So Arnavji you have to start for the hospital immediately

Arnav: but Khushi how can I leave this conference in the middle so many doctors from different part of the globe is here

Khushi: Arnavji when did this conference became important than a life to you god forbids if something happens to him will you be able to forgive yourself

Arnav: that's true nothing is important than someone's life, text me the address I will reach there in no time

With that, he disconnected the call and moved towards Aman

Arnav: Aman I need to leave from here it's an emergency you have to handle this

He looked back at all the doctors waiting for him

Arnav: pardon me, gentlemen!

With that, he ran out of the cabin and marched towards the exit

Aman thinking "Gentle.Man really!!" (looking at the glares he was getting)

Hospital

Zoya entered the cabin where Asad was lying unconscious several channels pierced in his skin, Zoya could hear the beep sound of the machine how much she hated this sound since her parents accident from where her misery started but she never made it obvious and always kept a smile on her face but now when she started smiling genuinely again destiny is all set to snatch it from her but this time she will not let anyone snatch away her happiness, her life her Asad from her, Zoya stood near the bed she didn't touched him as she doesn't want to hurt him as she can't see where all the IV is connected

Zoya: Asad you don't worry! You will be fine! I will not let anything happen to you (she said wiping the tears rolling down her eyes) Once you will be fully recovered then I will take your class properly, what was the need of throwing that stunt, dying was much better than the fear of losing you (she again nodded in no) I talk nonsense at times how will I lose you we will always be together haina Asad?

She didn't get any answer well it was obvious but still, she was hoping for some miracle she just kept her hand on her mouth to control her sob

Zoya(angrily): what you think I'm dumb! I don't understand anything I know why are you doing this! You know I quit you won that challenge I can't resist talking to you! You are irresistible and I'm desperate for you see I'm admitting the truth now stop all this! ASAD!

Just then the nurse entered the OT

Nurse: maam you have to leave now! Dr.Raizyada has arrived he need to check him before the surgery

Zoya(wiping her tears): Dr. Raizyda came! (She silently thanked the almighty) Nurse will you please take me near his face Just for a minute

The nurse held her hand and took her near him and placed her hand on his hair, Zoya stroked his hair with fresh tears welling up her eyes she kissed him lightly on his forehead over his bandage she whispered in his ears

Zoya: I'm right here Asad waiting for you remember in airport you had promised me

Flashback

Asad: no I'm not running anywhere and not all without you! I promise

Zoya: so remember you're not running anywhere not at all without me

As she stood up straight a lone tear from her eyes fell on his cheeks she turned to leave when Asad in his unconscious state just mouthed "ZOYA" it was a very mere whisper, Zoya immediately turned around as she felt something

Nurse(confused): what happened ma'am?

Zoya just nodded in no and got out of the cabin

Arnav entered the operation theatre and was taken aback seeing Asad over there that was the last thing he would have expected

Arnav: What the! Asad!

Another Doctor: yes Dr.Arnav he is the famous Asad Ahmed Khan

Doctor seeing Arnav lost

Doctor: any problem Dr.Arnav?

Arnav(coming out of the trance): no...nothing reports, please!

The Doctor handed him all the test reports and Arnav started to examine it then he moved towards the channel connected to Asad's body

Arnav(checking the readings): We have to start with the surgery immediately

Soon the surgery started, all were standing outside the OT impatiently for the surgery to get over continuously praying for Asad's well being, Zoya was beside Dilshad consoling her as she was totally broken so does Zoya but she has a faith that nothing will happen to him and for Asad and Zoya nothing is important than their family and she can't let his family no their family to break down like this so she was playing his role of being a pillar of support soon after some hours the bulb above the OT was off which indicated the surgery was over, Ayaan immediately informed this to Zoya. All the family gathered near the door to open, After about 15 minutes Arnav came out removing his mask and discussing something with the group of doctors, as soon as he turned towards them he was bombarded with the sets of questions about Asad's health

Arnav(with a little smile): he is totally fine and out of danger well it will take 4 more hours for him to gain conscious but nothing to worry about it as it's only because of anesthesia just that he needs proper bed rest till the wound gets healed

All of them just sighed in relief, Zoya never felt so relaxed hearing any news, she felt like she got her breath back

Zoya: THANK YOU!!! Thank you so much, doctor

Ayaan: yes doc thanks a lot for making it in such a short notice

Arnav: hey don't need to thanks, I have just done my job

Ayaan: Doctor! After this brain surgery...

Arnav(cut in off): Correction it was critical but it was not a brain surgery Actually in that wound on his forehead was deep so a clot was formed so this surgery was to remove it, but now he is perfectly fine, Afterall he's a fighter his body cooperated with medicines nicely so the procedure became simpler.

With that left from there to the head doctor's cabin

Nurse: Since the patient is out of danger all don't need to be here only one person can stay with patient rest can leave

Ayaan: I will stay with bhai you all need rest!

Zoya: No unless I hear his voice I'm not going anywhere

Ayaan: but Bhabhi...

Zoya: no I'm not hearing anything, I know I can't be of much help but let me stay here

Dilshad: yes, even I'm not going anywhere without Asad

Ayaan: Ammi try and understand it's a hospital and we should corporate with them and Bhai is fine now and even you need rest, you all can come here by tomorrow morning, please

Dilshad nodded in agreement but Zoya was extremely sad she really want to stay there but only one person is allowed and she can't argue because of her blindness she can't be of much help

Asad coming out of the hug kissed her forehead, Zoya smiled through her tears feeling his touch and warmth after so long, She stroked her hand on his face convincing herself he is fine. She was still crying and Asad was extremely worried seeing her like that

Asad(wiping her tears): Zoya please stop crying! I'm totally fine

Zoya: why Asad? Why you pulled that stunt! What were you thinking? I'm so sorry because of me you...

Asad: Zoya please stop blaming yourself! It's not your fault at all

Zoya: It is my fault that I came into your life! It's all because of me...Please let me go, Asad, I'm not worthy enough for you...you deserve someone better...It would be...

Before Zoya could continue he pressed his hard lips on her kissing her deeply, Shock would be an understatement for Zoya, she tried coming out of his hold but he was much strong for her, she also slowly gave up and responded to his kiss with same love and kissed him back clutching his shirt, A lone tear rolled down her eyes as finally her heart was accepting that he's fine and close to her forever the moment only demanded their togetherness, their love for each other they parted when they went short of breath, Zoya was blushing heavily her face complimented the shades of beetroot, Asad smirked seeing his effect on her, he didn't want it to be like this but he couldn't control when she was nearly talking about their separation as still, he was not able to get rid of the sight of her being in the middle of the highway

So the raizada makes.a cameo for.asad surgery
So guessing arnav will take care of zoya eyesight problem too
Knew razia would have pulled the blame zoya stunt
But glad all ignore her and dilshad convinced zoya
She is asad life
Gaffur dealt with razia well
Glad asad is fine cant wait for him to be all better and remember razia wrong doing
Cant wait to see how he deala with her
