Ok guys finally here is part 1 😆 I wont lie but I was stuck on this for a while! I guess since many of us were discussing this track, I was wondering, logically how should the TS go? Is it ok for Aahil to step back and leave Sanam in Pakistan? Should Sanam know she is not Shaad's wife? Should she just be confused as to why she is so attracted to Aahil despite knowing that Shaad is her husband? I didn't know what the readers would prefer more! But then I realized that this was just a TS and I don't want to waste time explaining the characters! I just wanted to write about an idea that came to my mind regarding SaHil 😆 So I decided that if the cvs can take so much creative liberty, I can take a little as well 😉 Honestly this is just about SaHil! Something filmy and romantic! 😳 Not really a thought out analysis of the characters and their motives 😆 Anyway I hope you guys like it! 😳 Sorry if its a bit disappointing for some! I promise part 2 is much better lol I am quite happy with how part 2 turned out and hopefully I will post that one sooner! 😉 Really excited to read the reactions on that one! Its all and only SaHil 😳 Till then, I really hope you guys like part 1 as well! Please do leave comments and feedback! I would really appreciate it! 🤗As I always say, I write for you guys so your opinion truly matters! Love u all!! Enjoy!! ❤️
Lafz kitne hi tere pairon se lipte honge...
Tune jab aakhiri khat mera jalaya hoga...
Tune jab phool, kitabon se nikaale honge...
Dene waala bhi tujhe yaad toh aaya hoga 💔
"Do you really want me to leave?" His voice shook even though he tried hard to compose himself. He was scared to hear her reply. She was Sanam! His Sanam! How could she not remember him at all! How could she not remember their love! How could she... Let go like this!
"Yes... Yes I do. I cant take this anymore! I am sorry but I cannot remember anything related to you. You are truly mistaken. I am not your wife! I am married yes, but my husband is Shaad! Please go from here! Your presence suffocates me! Please! I have already gone through a lot! I just want some peace!"
Aahil closed his eyes as her words and their underlying meaning washed over him.
"Tumhe sach mein kuch bhi yaad nahi Sanam?" He looked at her in despair. No matter how many times he failed, his heart refused to give up! Somewhere inside was hope amidst the desperation and pain, hope that she would remember, hope that she would go home with him... Where she belongs. But now she wanted him to leave! He suddenly felt at loss of strength! After fighting such a long battle to reach her and to try to make her remember, her words gave him so much pain! He didnt want to give up but... Could he keep fighting his fate like this?!!
"Dekhiye, maine aapko kitni baar kaha hai ke mujhe kuch yaad nahi! Aap vishwas kyun nahi karte! Yeh jaante hui bhi ke main Shaad ki biwi hoon, maine aap ko ek mauka diya hai! Aur aap bhi dekh chukhe hain ke mujhe kuch yaad nahi! Toh please, aap zidd chodd kar aapne ghar chale jayiye! Aur Allah ke liye mujhe uss naam se matt bulaiye!"
"Kyun... Kyun na bulao tumhe Sanam? Tum Sanam ho! Meri Sanam! Tumhe kuch bhi yaad nahi yeh manne ke liye main tayaar nahi hoon! I can see it in your eyes Sanam! Tumhare hoonth kuch keh rahe hai aur aankhen kuch aur! I still see something in them Sanam! A flicker of recognition which still gives me hope! That you will remember me Sanam! One day you will. You will remember our love! The journey that we have lived together! Dont deny it! Fine tell me that you feel nothing when I call you Sanam!" Aahil said as he moved closer to her.
Sanam looked up at him and he found himself staring at the eyes that had captivated him from the very beginning. The vulnerability and confusion he saw in them broke his heart. He didnt want to hurt her! He could never imagine doing that! He just wanted his Sanam back! He wanted her to know that Jannat was a figment of someone else's imagination! That she was Sanam Aahil Raza Ibrahim... His Begum Jaan! But he took a step back.
"Sirf iss liye ke mujhe kuch yaad nahi iska matlab yeh nahi ke aap meri majboori ka faida utha sakhte hain! Mere shauhar Shaad Aftab Khan hai! Main iss khandan ki bahu hoon! Please aap galat jagah par aaye hai! Honestly, I dont think I have the strength to take this anymore. I am sorry..." The tone of her voice felt like a sharp stab at his heart.
Aahil looked into her eyes to search for his Sanam but she looked away.
"Sanam...," he whispered but she did not look at him. She refused to even look at him!
Aahil knew it was time... To leave...
Tere aankhon ke daariya ka utarna bhi zaroori tha...
Mohabbat bhi zaroori thi bichhadna bhi zaroori tha
Zaroori tha ke hum dono tawaf-e-arzoo karte...
Magar phir arzoonon ka bikharna bhi zaroori tha 💔
As Shaad led her into the bedroom and closed the door behind them, Jannat stood rooted to the spot. The words she just spoke replayed in her mind along with what they meant! She felt her face burn as she realized what she told Aahil. Jannat could not stop thinking of how hurt Aahil looked when she said... Honestly, she did not feel confident saying all of that. She had to work really hard to get the courage to speak those words without wavering. But even then she could not look into his eyes. The pain she saw made her heart ache! It made her want take back her words!
For a few weeks now, her heart and mind were at war with each other! Was she really Sanam? If yes, then why could she not remember anything? Aahil tried really hard but nothing came to her. But she would not lie, the man came in her dreams almost every njght. From day one she felt a strange attraction to him. She pushed it off considering he was good looking but his intense eyes and husky voice made a strange longing stir within her. It was so different from how Shaad made her feel.
"Shaad?" Jannat closed her eyes. She didnt know what to say next!
"Kya hua Jannat? Aap theek hain?" Jannat clenched her jaw. She wanted to scream! Of course not! She was not fine! How could she be when she could not remember anything that has happened in her life! Such a huge chunk of her life was missing! Her identity was now a huge question for her!
A man saves her from the riots and tells her she is his wife! She believes him! Where else is she suppose to go! She feels like she belongs somewhere so tries to adapt with him! Tries to work past her lack of memories and be wary any mistake that she might unwittingly make! Tries to be the woman he claims she is! Despite the initial hiccups, she manages to stabilize her routine and fit into what seems an entirely new lifestyle! His family is kind enough to accept her. Things are not perfect but better than before. Then one day a man comes to their doorstep and hits her like a tornado leaving her with nothing but questions!
"Aahil ko maine jaane ke liye bol toh diya lekin..."
"Aapne theek kiya! Your Jannat not Sanam! He is clearly mistaken yet we gave him a chance! We didnt have to do this! But I didnt want the authorities to get involved! He is the Nawab of Bhopal! He could have used his power against us! But now he knows that your not his wife, he can just look elsewhere!"
Jannat's eyes widened in shock as she looked at Shaad. Look elsewhere? A sick feeling settled in the pit of her stomach as she realized what he just said. If she was not Sanam, that meant that Sanam was still out there waiting for him! No! That didnt seem right! How could he look elsewhere! Jannat bit her lower lip harshly. But why should she care! She was not his wife...
"Dekhiye Jannat, please dont stress yourself out like this! The doctor has warned you that too much stress can have a negative impact on your health! You need to rest and take care of yourself!"
But Jannat still felt extremely restless. "Lekin Shaad, ek baat hain! I may not remember him but I feel like I know him! I have told you this a few times before as well! Sudden blurry images come before me and sometimes I feel like I see Aahil in them!"
Not just that, she even saw him in her dreams! Jannat sighed. At first she used to dream of falling into a sea and being pushed against the tides! It was horrifying! Slowly as she became more comfortable in the house, the nightmares went away. They were replaced by dreams that confused her even more! She had wondered if she was remembering her past memories? There was always a man but she could not make out his face! She assumed it was Shaad! But ever since Aahil entered her life, the face became more clear! It was Aahil Raza Ibrahim who visited her in her dreams!
"Jannat, like I had said earlier as well, you had these flashes even before Aahil came here. They have no meaning! I spoke to the doctor and she said it is natural! Patients with amnesia often get flashes of previous memories or even dreams related to their past. But in some cases, hallucinations also occur. Things that are not part of your memory start to invade your mind! Its because your brain is very delicate post the accident. And you know the tricks of the mind are so difficult to comprehend!"
"Shaad I understand but still..."
"Look Jannat, your hearing everything that man is telling you like a story and somewhere inside of your mind that story is beginning to form images. Those images are playing tricks with your mind, they are making your imagination run wild! Your seeing thing that have not even happened but are purely based on what he tells you! I am not trying to prove you wrong but your really stressing yourself out for no reason!"
"For no reason?!! You know what, leave it Shaad, you really don't understand!" Jannat felt herself becoming more and more frustrated by the moment. She felt a sharp pain on one side of her head. She felt like she wanted to scream! Scream and release the tension inside of her! It was suffocating her!
"What do you mean by I dont understand! I have been trying my best to help you! I even let him stay here so that he could not turn around and accuse either one of us of anything and cause you anymore stress! And your saying I don't understand! What else do you want me to do? Tell me Jannat! Tell me! Jannat..." His voice lowered as he realized that he was shouting at her! Jannat looked at him incredulously.
"Jannat..."
"I am not Jannat!!!" she screamed louder than he had seconds ago. They both stood shocked in silence. Jannat took a step back. Did she just say she was not Jannat?!! Why did she just say that? Shaad looked at her shocked!
"I am sorry Shaad! Mujhe patah nahin kya ho gaya tha! My head is hurting so much!" Jannat sat on the bed and took a deep breath.
"I completely understand! I am so sorry for yelling! I just lost control for a moment! I am just worried for you Jannat! Anyway I think you should take some rest! We can talk once you feel better! And don't worry about anything!" Jannat nodded as she laid down on the bed.
As Shaad covered her with a blanket and turned off the lights, Jannat couldnt help but feel extremely uncomfortable. Was she really hallucinating? Was her mind really making up these images that dont exist? Was this her inner desire speaking as oppose to reality? Aahil did visit her dream, very frequently... Unless, he has taken on the form of the man who came in her dreams earlier! That man is suppose to be Shaad?!! So is this her attraction for him talking as oppose to the truth? Was it distorting her reality! Jannat felt a sharp pain in her head so she closed her eyes hoping to get some rest. She could answer all these questions once she felt a little better. For now she seriously needed rest. Her mind was full of questions!
"Shaad, aap mujhse kabhi jhoot nahi bolenge na?!!" Jannat suddenly spoke out in the dark room but Shaad had already left...
A few hours later...
Jannat walked aimlessly down the hall. She could not sleep at all! She thought about how everything changed one fine day when a Nawab from Bhopal by the name of Aahil Raza Ibrahim entered their lives and called her by the name "Sanam". He claimed that she was his wife! Jannat had no recollection of her previous memories! All she knew was that she ran away from her home to marry Shaad and he had no information regarding her family! He searched a lot but no one responded. Jannat had wondered if her family no longer cared for her! She decided to move on and adjust with Shaad! Adjust? But was marriage simply adjustment? Were there no other feelings involved! Jannat could not deny that Aahil brought a out such overwhelming feelings from inside of her! Sometimes she wondered if she was indeed Sanam! But that would mean that Shaad lied to her!
Shaad... He was suppose to be her husband. Jannat had no idea what an ideal relationship should be. She did everything she had to as the daughter in law of the household but when it came to her and Shaad, it was so confusing! What she felt for him... is that how all wives feel for their husband? Or was there something more? After a while she had stopped questioning. Shaad gave her space and quietly stood by her. She appreciated it! She figured it was because she forgot everything, their marriage, how they met and even her family. He was a kind man yet sometimes things just didn't seem right? She almost wanted to think he was lying to her but chastised herself for thinking that way! He saved her life, is always kind to her and comes from a good family! What would he get out of cheating her? He didnt even make any demands from her. It was probably her lack of memories that were creating these insecurities! They both had managed to expose and capture Shashi Kapoor as a team a few weeks back. She felt safe with him! But that was it! She wondered, if this was how love was suppose to feel?
But all this was before ARI came into her life like a gust of wind! The feelings he evoked were something else! But she didn't know if she could trust him! The power he had over her was too strong! Shaad warned her of enemies lurking everywhere. Shaad did not trust Aahil despite him being the Nawab of Bhopal! But she could not find any reason to mistrust him! He seemed... Real!
But one thing for sure, she hated the overwhelming emotions she felt around him! Around Aahil! A part of her wanted to believe that she was Sanam! But the logical side stopped her. What if she was not Sanam! What if one fine day, Sanam returned! Where would she belong! She looked just like Sanam but that could be just a coincidence! Before her attachment grew and things got out of control, Jannat decided it was best for him to leave. She was Jannat! Yes... She was...
Bataao yaad hai tumko, woh jab dil ko churaya tha...
Churaai cheez ko tumne, khuda ka ghar banaya tha...
Woh jab kehte thhe, mera naam tum tasbih mein padhte ho...
Mohabbat ki Namaazo ko, qara karne se darte ho 💔
The next morning...
Jannat had very little sleep the night before. She sat by the window for very long until Shaad told her it was late and she needed to to sleep! She sighed as she wondered if her mistrust in Shaad was wrong! He cared so much for her! Why would he lie? But then Aahil... His eyes spoke too much! There was no way they would be able to conceal such a huge truth! Unless Shaad was right, she was hallucinating and seeing things that were clearly not there! But that just did not seem right either! She pushed her thoughts away, quickly got out of bed and started to get ready for the day ahead.
When Jannat reached the table. Phupho requested her to call Aahil for breakfast. She was about to make an excuse but decided against it. Even though she almost dreaded seeing him, she didn't want to make Phupho realize that. Aa she walked towards his room, she wondered if she really did dread seeing him. She felt her heart race faster. Okay... Maybe she didn't mind seeing him but those eyes... Ya Allah the pain in them made her stomach twist into a knot! She knew he tried to hide it but it could not escape her eyes! God knows why he affects her so much! From the first day she felt a strange attraction to this stranger! It was almost as of she could read his emotions perfectly! Yet she could not recall ever meeting him! She was clearly not who he was looking for! But honestly, knowing that does not feel as good as it should!
Jannat composed herself and took a deep breath as she reached the doorway.
"Aahil? Phupho ne aapko nashte ke liye bhulaya hai."
"Thank you but please tum unhe meri taraf se shukriya keh dena... Mujhe bhook nahin."
He took a deep breath before continuing, "main kal Hindustan wapas ja raha hoon Sa-- Jannat. Agar... Agar meri wajah se tumhe koi bhi takleef hui hai, then I am sorry." He looked up and when those deep eyes bore into her, she felt as if everything around her was at a still. Time was at a still! She saw pain... immense pain in those eyes, something dark and powerful! It made her shiver because she knew that she was the cause of it. She swallowed hard trying to break the eye contact but somehow she could not. He was hiding a world of pain, but those eyes failed to hide anything from her. Jannat didnt know why, but she wanted to somehow ease his pain. It felt like the most natural thinking to do. Why did this man create these unknown feelings inside of her! Why did she feel like doing things that she has no reason to! Why could she feel his pain!
Finally she blinked and looked down before her thoughts left more confused. He had just started packing his bags. Seeing the bags made her stomach churn. He was leaving for real! But then she was the one who told him to leave! How badly must her words have hurt him that after weeks of trying so hard, he was giving up! Did she make a mistake?!! No! He has to leave... Doesnt he?!!
She looked up from the clothes lying in a heap on the bed and to the man before her.
He gave her a small smile and said, "mujhe maaf nahi karogi?" His smile. It was not the usual smile he gave her. It didnt reach his eyes at all. His smile reflected defeat and somehow it made her very uneasy. But why?!! She wanted him to leave didnt she? Then why is it hurting to see him give up! By now she was sure that the face that visited her dreams belonged to him! Then why could she not remember! Was this really her hallucination or maybe her attraction speaking as oppose to reality? Was it a mere coincidence that he came in her dreams? Or...
"Aahil..."
"Its ok Sanam. I know its not your fault. Sometimes destiny plays such strange games with us. We can try and fight all we want but aakhir mein sirf unki marzi chalti hai. Shayad... Mera chale jaana hi theek hai."
"Aahil... Main... Kal raat..."
"Sanam main yeh kabhi nahi chahunga ke tumhe koi takleef ho! Main.. Main yeh kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakhta! Main kaise tumhara... faida?!!" He seemed like he was at loss of words. Aahil took a deep breath and she could see how hard he was trying to sound normal.
"Main sirf yahi chahta hoon ke tum khush rahoon! I dont want you to feel upset by my presence! That was never my intention!" Jannat looked away and bit her lip as it began to tremble. She had not intended to say something like that! She knew... Somehow she knew that this man could never harm her! He would never take advantage of her! He was just too... Pure!
"I know," she said softly as she turned around to leave. She could not stand in front of him any longer!
"Agar main tumhe itna hi bura lagta hoon toh chodd kyun nahi deti!" Jannat stopped in her tracks.
The words kept ringing in her ears and when she closed her eyes to make it stop, a scene flashed before her. She saw blurry images of a man and woman fighting. The woman forces the man to turn around and face her. They exchanged some words which led to them shouting and as the woman was walking away the man said something to make her stop. Just like she had! He had blurted out words that were perhaps unexpected! Words that were now ringing in her ears! Jannat opened her eyes and stood still for a moment.
The voice... The voice belonged to Aahil! Jannat whipped around to see Aahil folding a shirt slowly before letting it slip through his fingers into the bag. He didnt say a word... But then? What did she hear?
"Aap ne kuch kaha?!!"
He looked up at her and slowly nodded his head, "nahi...San-- Jannat..." He said the name with such finality! Jannat felt her eyes start to water as a strange emotion engulfed her. Before he could say another word, she turned around and walked away leaving behind pin-drop silence where even the sound of two hearts breaking could not be heard.
Magar ab yaad aata hai, woh baatein thi mahaz baatein...
Kahin baaton hi baaton mein, mukarna bhi zaroori tha...
Teri aankhon ke dariya ka, utarna bhi zaroori tha 💔
Aahil swallowed hard as he watched her walk away and this time he did not stop her. "I just want you to be happy Sanam..." He whispered to the empty room as a lone tear ran down his cheek. He had tried so hard to make her remember yet she could not. He had failed to make her remember! She did not believe that she was Sanam! But he knew that she was!
Last night, she had pleaded him to leave her alone! That he was frustrating her and making her ill! Shaad supported her and she took his hand walked away. At that point Aahil knew he had to step back. He could not risk causing her more harm. She was very weak and fragile from the accident! He could not afford to lose her! Now, she may be far but she would be safe! She would be happy!
But still... She would be apart from him! Knowing that he had to leave without her and face that Mansion alone scared him! He didn't want to be alone ever again! But he didn't want to take Sanam against her will either! If she was happy staying here, so be it! The family was very kind and protective towards her! Family... She now has a family while he has lost almost everyone precious!
After Rehan and Ammi left, Aahil prayed that Sanam would be a part of his life no matter what! That she would never let him be alone again! But now he had to return... All alone! Sanam is his world and he had no idea how he was going to be able to live life apart from her!
A few hours later...
"Giving up already are you Ibrahim?" Aahil looked up to the Shaad leaning against the door, an unmistakable smirk forming on his face.
"I told you from day one, she is Jannat! My Jannat! Yet you kept on insisting that she was your wife Sanam... So why are you deciding to give up now? Finally you have accept the truth right?" Shaad asked as he walked closer. Aahil curled his fists but tried to keep himself in check. He wanted to punch this bas***d hard enough to not only wipe they smirk of his face but to make sure he could never open his mouth to speak to Aahil Raza Ibrahim in that manner again! But he kept quiet. For her.
"I am not giving up Major." Aahil growled softly. "If I wanted I could have whisked my wife away to Ibrahim mansions. She would have struggled but eventually she would have seen the truth. But then there would be no difference between me and you. I have never forced any decision on her! Even the first time when I thought... When I thought she loved another I hid my feelings from her. I loved her then, I love her now and will always love her! But I will not keep her with me against her will! But that does not mean my love is weak! Our love is based on the trust and honesty! I know that one day she will discover the truth and when she does, she will come back to where she belongs, to her home! To our home! There is no doubt about that!"
"Keep dreaming! You have come to the wrong place buddy. Jannat is not Sanam! However since you insisted that she was, I let you stay here. But clearly your proved wrong! Ho gayi tasali?!! I have let you stay here long enough, but now I cant trust you! If she cant remember anything, that means your were never a part of her past! I don't know what your intentions are but clearly you have overstayed your visit. I am just glad you made the wise decision before I had to take some action. Stay far away from Jannat!" Shaad had a content look on his face.
Aahil looked at him amusedly.
"I am only leaving because she wants me to leave! You can celebrate all you want claiming this to be my loss! But its not! No matter what she says, I can see the same love in her eyes! I can still see the effect I have on her! Have you ever looked past her words to see what she feels! While I have done my bit to let her know of her idenitity, the rest is up to her! I will never force her nor do anything that worsens her condition! But you wont understand Shaad."
"I dont even want to understand! All I know is that Jannat will be safe only with me! I wont let anyone come near her! Not even you! She will be happy here."
"Thats why I am leaving Shaad. There is nothing more important than her safety and her happiness!" Aahil took a deep breath. It was true nothing was more important than her happiness! But the pain of leaving her behind was unbearable!
"Shaad I will leave tomorrow but for now can you please leave. The faster you leave the faster you will get rid of me. Just remember that she is Sanam! Not Jannat! No matter how much you say it, it wont change! I may be leaving but I will never give up on our love! I will wait for her! My name may not appear on her lips, but our hearts and souls are connected! I can feel it and soon she will too!"
"Right so you planning on living with the hope that she will return. All your life? Really?!!"
"Shaad, I will live with the hope that one day she will remember her past and come back home to me! But you will have to live with the fear that one fine day she will remember everything and hate you!"
A small smirk appeared on his lips as he saw the changed expression in Shaad's eyes. Shaad glared at Aahil for a few minutes and stormed off.
Aahil shook his head and finished packing. Once he was finished, he looked around the room. His eyes fell on the frame he had placed on the stand the first day he had arrived at the house. He took the picture frame from the stand and hugged it close. He recalled her words from the night before. His knees gave way as he sunk to the floor still hugging the picture.
"I will always love you Sanam." His body trembled slightly as the intensity of the pain spread throughout his body. The realization that he was leaving her behind broke him completely. His heart wept as the tears poured out of hie eyes. "But how will I live without you..."
Wahi hai sooratein apni, wahi main hoon, wahi tum ho...
Magar khoya huaa hoon main, magar tum bhi kahin gum ho...
Mohabbat mein dagha ki thi, so kaafir thhe so kaafir hain...
Mili hain manzilein phir bhi, musaafir thhe, musaafir hain...
This was it! She needed to speak to Shaad! She needed proof once and for all! She wanted to stop this confusion! This was her life, not a game! She had every right to know all the information and then decide who was telling the truth! She walked down the hall until she saw Shaad storm out of Aahil's room towards the front door. As she ran after him, she suddenly stopped a few steps away from a door.
"I love you so much Sanam! I have failed to keep my promise! Maine kaha tha ki hum kabhi judaa nahi honge! Main yeh wada bhi nahi nibha paaya... I am so sorry!"
She could clearly hear the pain emanating from his words. It burned her entire being. His silent weeping reached her ears as she stood rooted to the spot! Aahil... Her heart was pounding in her chest. Suddenly it felt so difficult to breath!
Jannat ran down the hall to her room as fast as she could and slammed the door shut! She slid down the wall and pulled her knees closer. She kept on hearing his voice in her head. She shut her ears and started sobbing. She felt so frustrated! There was so much pain, guilt, confusion and god knows what else! Despite feeling all these emotions, Jannat felt so empty! She felt so lost! Who was she?
Later that night...
Jannat tossed in bed for hours. Each time she closed her eyes she saw him! She saw Aahil! She sat up and reached for a glass of water. She looked at the time. Shaad had to drop off Phupho and Misbah who were going to their home for a few days. He would probably return in the afternoon. Shaad's father was probably sound asleep and Aahil... He was probably awake just like her! Jannat decided to not leave the room! She did not want to run into him!
Jannat sighed as she held her head in her hand. She felt light headed and her eyes were swollen from crying! Jannat decided to do the one thing that gave her peace.
"Allah miya, yeh kaisi pariksha hain! Mujhe khud pata nahin ke main kaun hoon! Shaad jinhone meri jaan bachayi, woh kehte hain ki main Jannat hoon. Unki biwi Jannat! Maine yeh mann liya tha! Woh ek achcha insaan hai aur iss mushkil ghadi main unhone mera saath diya! Lekin mujhe har waqt aisa kyun lagta hai ke kuch toh hai jo sahi nahi hai. Aur dusre taraf hai Aahil jinko lagta hai ke main Sanam hoon! Allah miyan, mujhe unke aankhon mein sachayi dikhti hain. Woh bahut masoom aur saaf dil ke lagte hain! Lekin mujhe nahi pata ke jo main dekh rahi hoon woh sach hain ya sirf mere dimag ka vehem! Mujhe kuch nahi pata! Sirf aap hi mujhe raasta dikha sahte hai. Khud ke pechaan khona kitni badi sazaa hai yeh mujhse behtaar kaun jan sakhta hain! Aap mujhe iss kashmakash se nikaliye! Mujhe meri pechaan wapas de dijye! Main aaj bahut kuch mang rahi hoon lekin mujhe patha hai ke sache dil se mangi hui dua kabhi khali nahi jaati! Allah miyan bas aap ka sahara hain! Mujhe meri manzil ko pehchanemein madat kejiye! Mujhe mere ateeth ke bade mein kuch yaad nahin, lekin itna jaanti hoon ke aapka aur mera bahut purana rishta hain! Ab bas aap par bhadosa hain! Ab aap jo raha dikhayenge, wahi meri manzil hogi! Allah miyan mere dua qubool kejiye! Amen."
Across the hall...
"Allah miyan mujhe aur kuch nahin chahiye! Bas aap Sanam ko hamesha khush aur mehfooz rakhna. Usse door rehna aasaan nahi hoga lekin mera pyaar itna bhi kamzoor nahin hain! Ek na ek din woh mere paas wapas zaroor laut aayegi! Mujhe meri pyaar pe yakeen hain! Aap bas mujhe itna takaat dena ke mein usse alvida keh sakun! Main Sanam se bahut mohabbat karta hoon... Usse khona nahin chata hoon! Ya Allah mere dua qubool kar! Amen."
Aahil wiped his tears and looked up at the moon. "Hum dur honge phir bhi yeh chaand humein hamesh jodh ke rakhega! I love you Sanam! And I always will!"
Tere dil ke nikaale hum, kahan bhatke, kahaan pahunche...
Magar bhatke toh yaad aaya, bhatakna bhi zaroori tha...
Mohabbat bhi zaroori thi, bichhadna bhi zaroori tha 💔
The next morning...
Jannat was glad no one was home. Shaad's father had left to visit a friend and Shaad still had not returned. For some reason, she wanted this one last moment with him... Alone! As Jannat approached his room, her heart began to beat faster. She took a deep breath and knocked softly on the open door. He looked up slowly and just stared. Almost as if he was framing this memory in his mind. Jannat felt a strange urge to go up to him and and wrap her arms around this man who looked so broken! How she wished that she could do something to make him smile! To make him happy!
"Kya jaane se pehle main ek cheez mang sakhta hoon" her eyes widened when he suddenly spoke. They were locked in a trance for a few moments and his voice suddenly broke her out of her reverie. It almost took a moment for her to realize that he asked a question. Aahil looked hurt, he had misintpereted her silence for hesitation. She opened her mouth to explain but didnt know what to say. He gave a small laugh that came out hollow and painful. "Don't worry, kuch zyaada nahi mangunga. I promise."
Jannat looked at him in anticipation. What could he want from her?!!
"One last dance. If thats not too much..."
"Dance?"
"I never had the honor of dancing with my Begum Jaan. Shayad yaahi ek aakhri mauka hai."
Jannat felt her strange longing inside of her. Something inexplicable! As if something or rather someone was going far away from her! The restlessness was increasing by the moment and she needed to put an end to it! But how?!!
"Just one last dance. Please..." She looked at him in confusion while he looked on with hopeful eyes.
