Hell, even the mods have made it clear that as the show is promoting them as a new pair is why an AT is being approved..in their own words...

Just because Sanam has forgotten that she is married, doesn't mean that she isn't ANYMORE. It really irritates me how easily she has accepted everything dished out to her, no questions asked. Who does that?! Common sense alone should tell her to question some things. Also, if a person is suffering from amnesia and is told that she is married to a particular person, shouldn't there be some level of awkwardness or uncertainty at times? This whole aspect of that storyline is so ridiculous.

At the end of the day, I don't blame Sanam. Shaad is the one in control of this situation. I know they want him to be a good guy. I want him to be a really good guy and maybe he really is however they are NOT showing us that. Because only he knows the truth that could set Sanam free and by free I mean have an actual choice in this matter. He KNOWS that they aren't married, he KNOWS that there might be people looking for her, he KNOWS how wrong it is to be doing what he is doing, and has been apologetic however that is nothing if he continues doing what he is doing for his own selfish reasons and yes it is selfish because this lie in no way benefits Sanam and he KNOWS that.

The makers have utterly screwed this premise up! If Sanam was aware she is not Shaad's wife but helping him in turn, by pretending to be, then this situation would be a lot more palatable! (Even with memory loss she has choice!) But the reason it is not, is that she has no clue she is being lied to! This lie is getting bigger by the minute and lots of other people's lives are getting involved and messed up as well! Misbah being one of them!

Also, I will have to say, weather some people on this forum like it or not, Sanam and Aahil were touted as the main OTP of Season 2! They even said that Shaad was to form a love triangle with SAHIL for season 3! Nowhere was it said that Sanam was going to go with Shaad! Also, for Sanam to choose Shaad, she needs to be given a CHOICE? Which in this case she has not been! I know everyone likes to pretend she is someone else and "ship" her with a man who is actually a total stranger! A man who dosent even know her real name! How is this relationship worthy of appreciation? To appreciate something, it has to have some authenticity! But this one has non!

Cuteness is not a good enough reason to root for a couple! This couple is formed in and based on a lie! Also, if Zoya was paired with another man, if ZOYAAN had been shown in a romcom light, people would object and they did! Some of the "semi romantic" scenes they had were highly criticized! They even had a BG! But I don't remember an AT being formed for them? They were married, and knew each other's real names! So that relationship had a lot more validity than this one! Both knew themselves and each other! Here one has no clue of her own name and the man dosent even know it either!

It is quite disheartening to see people "shipping" the pairing of a married women with another man! Especially when said women is being fooled into it! What about this deserves appreciation I don't know? The MODS said that this pairing is promoted by PH! So we're ZOYAAN! In fact when Vikrant M was being cast as Ayaan, GK herself said they wanted to choose an actor that can be paired with Zoya in the future! So they always intended ZOYAAN to be a legitimate pairing! It was always in the synopsis as well! But they never had an AT, and I honestly don't know why this "non couple" does? Making caps for and admiring so called "romantic" scenes of a married women with another man? I am amazed at the blatant disregard here for her marital status!

It is very hypocritical too coz if this was Zoya, NO ONE would make an AT and no one would "ship" her with another man! So to me, people shipping Sanam who is legally wedded wife of Aahil, with a man she met last week, who dosent even know her name? It comes across quite contrived! The motivations don't appear to me as authentic! Most people shipping this couple would Ship a broomstick which is paired with SJ, as long as it is not current male lead! Even if I didn't like it, I would respect this new pairing, if the makers BOTHERED to give this relationship ANY legitimacy! But they have not! So at best all it can be now is an illicit relationship being given respectability through amnesia!

Her characterization alone, is enough to put me off this whole plot. As usual a good enough idea, but very poorly executed and butchered by these CV's, who have NO idea how to do a track in a way that thinking people can appreciate it! We are not all here to just "ship" whatever these makers throw our way! Want the story and the characters to make sense and be justifiable. This track has non of it, and coming across quite contrived and like they are trying too hard!
