So, the writing is just right, the mystery and build up perfect. All parts very cohesive. All the way to end. Really hard and tough for Zoe at this point. She was hoping till last, even when Asad dropped in for a check. She tried one last time.

I really really like Ayaan in this story, he kind of is a bridge to all connections, at least that is how I see it. He is doing all right the things, following all the right tracks, and listening too. Agreed he had help from Asad. That is a whole another thing. I am going on a limb and going to think, Asad wanted Ayaan to find the lead, and find it fast. It's almost a perfect find. Sad in context that the end and last trace of Ahsaan. Yet the no one really knows or saw him directly. Of course his wallet and watch were found, but I am not yet convinced. Maybe, I am overthinking it.

Also the wildlife and human conflict with habitat, the backdrop of Asad's case almost ties into this.

Sinha's drive to work on the case seems to be fueled by Asad's inabilty to work on it till they have a breakthrough. And hoping he will find a reason to keep Asad out. At least he acknowledges how brilliantly Asad tackled it all, until the ambush. This apparently is driving both Sinha and Asad on the edge in their ways. Must be tough for someone like Asad to twiddle and wait while others are busy trailing the culprits.

I find it absolutely real, the way you are handling missing Ahsaan's case, the poignancy that one goes through to trail, to investigate, to do full justice, to actually check and cover everything is one the hardest work. Every missing person has a story, a family, someone who is waiting in hope. I really like how you have shown, so much humanity is needed to do this. Ayaan definitely cares enough about Zoe at this point to do that, many don't even have an Ayaan to help them.

I am really excited about next chapter. Looking forward to it. I finally feel the story peaking. I cannot wait to read it all. To see how you are going to tie up all ends. 😳

Yes, the wildlife trafficking case is another backdrop for this story, first being tea estates of North-East, so it will be there but in background. Characters need some playground, naa?
