Reading the flashback this chapter reminded me that Dilshad in no more in present. What a loss. I really like how the stranger has Zoe's umbrella and how Zoe complains about it. That line about his face in the raindrops is beautiful.😳

Ahsaan ki interview...Dilshad and Zarina grilling the botanist. 😆 Vaise I really like how Ahsaan is a tea botanist in this one. 😳 The parallel conversations in this particular part works really well, Dilshad, Zarina and Ahsaan one side, Zoe and Binu on the phone. The teasing between friends just about to graduate from college, is so reminiscent of the last college days, the world and life wide open, to all the dreams and possibilities. Friends moving on, some for jobs, others with marriage, the anticipation of the future stretches out a long way indeed. And of course Zarina trying to be a tough nut to crack, seems like crack she did, being defensive on his behalf already when Zoe was making fun of chai wala maali.🤣

Bold - Trust Zoya to come up with something like that. 😆

The last months of college are special - neither here nor there kind of. Ready to take the world and yet not ready to leave everything behind. One thing for sure - studies bahot kam ho jaati hain us time pe. 😆

And, Zarina did crack. She is a teacher. You know how much teachers approve academically brilliant folks!

And as expected he keeps to himself, and Zoe cannot help but wonder how does one do that.😆

Zarina sach main bahut smart hai, nice idea indeed to drop by without a heads up, kinda gives an idea how things really are. His room seems to have the best views indeed, loved the description, I could just imagine the rolling tea estates spreading all the way to horizon. ⭐️ I would love to see a view like that.

He indeed have best views. How much time he spends gazing that view is to be seen? Hmm...now that you talk about best view from his view...I wonder why Zoya didn't fight for that room like Nandini in HDDCS. Ek pardesi ko kamra mil gaya. Zoya doesn't appreciate her hometown in all its glory yet.

A bit messy on personal front and yet very organized with work, and those books and journals, reader bhi hai, even if they are work related. So he likes to talk about work, and he registers that Zoe could probably help with some of his work, with all the history background that she has? 😃 And yet he is still a bit awkward when it comes to personal talk.

Very very handsome? 😉 Oh how Binu would have enjoyed pulling her leg on this one. 😆

So finally ACP Khan sees his doppelganger and his details, coffee drinker meets the tea botanist. 👍🏼

I am quite liking contrasting tea and coffee here. It was not intentional at start but now it is firmly set.

Really looking forward to the next part now.
