Amazing update... The story just keeps on getting interesting with every chapter... As of now ayaan feels to be just a regular ol' boy who's got a lot of compassion in him, but he could be a double crosser... Sinha, i feel is not too bad.. He is someone who can be a bit corrupt, but in the larger scheme of things he could be an ally to Asad... I find the police commissioner to be a bit too genial... A darker persom could always be hiding under the mask of genialty... So far Asad seems to be a straight pin... No hidden agenda but it also could be the opposite, but I'd rather be optimistic... The same goes for Zoya too... I'd rather the both of them be positive character with no hidden agenda... But all these are just speculations of a person who sees conspiracy in just abt all the books I read... Great going Noe... This is superbly written and I absolutely love how u give a proper sorry to each major character that u've introduced... Great going... Really exciting go know how the story proceeds... And thanked for the pm...

Am going to repeat what Mehreen wrote in her comment on the previous chapter. Reading this story is like watching a movie. I'll have to say of all the stories of yours that I have read Noe, this one is fast becoming my favourite!

What an interesting chapter! From start to finish. It is the genius of your writing that we are able to like and enjoy reading parts of the story which do not have the main protagonists but new characters like Inspector Sinha and Commissoner. While reading the first part I thought that the dead body is of Ahsaan. But it turned out to be of a young boy. Wonder what Inspector Sinha found out about the boy from his computer records.

ACP Khan was the only child of his parents? So Ahsaan is just another man who looks like Asad? It is said that in this world there are 7 people of the same face. But one of your replies is making me think something else- "Past and present will merge" o_O Since looks can be deceptive is sort of a punch line of this chapter, for now am going to believe that there is def some connection between Ahsaan and Asad (apart from Zoya)

Ayaan, my boy! You do me proud! So heartening to see his concern for Zoya.

Starting from the beginning Sinha is absolutely reveling is getting some kind of action that challenges his grey matter, I really like how this character breaks through in the chapter. 👏

I really like what you have done with him, in initial chapters he comes across as lethargic and apathetic, misleading maybe. How easily we judge by just so little, maybe I need to go back and read his parts again. I like what you did here, he likes a good case and once he gets his hands on it, he wants to chase and solve it. His scorn for the system that he himself is part of is so ironical, in a good way. Playing the system that he himself enables. 👍🏼 Very good sort of intriguing. Coming to the case itself, like Nikita already mentioned above, I thought maybe it was Ahsaan too, 😲. I am curious too about his findings. I guess we will have to wait this one out too, for a thriller story the updates are not coming fast enough for me. 🤔

ACP Khan has his hands full, I like how the chapter sets up the urgency of cases and how ACP Khan is literally juggling time to handle them. The tone is perfect. The way he dismissed Ayaan and discreetly puts away the file that can lead to all sorts of problems for him is well done. Ayaan doesn't like it one bit, priorities priorities...😛

Commissioner ki entry: I really like this character too, that fly away hair, upar se him gorging pakore and chai at work so he doesn't get nagged by his wife, 😛 just kind of sets up an image that seems endearing in so many ways. Genial is usually not associated with police force. So it works the contrast here. 👍🏼 ACP Khan's no nonsense is such a good foil for him. Seems like coffee did not manage to lighten his mood either. Their conversation about Zoe is very interesting, this where layers are setup. I felt commissioner was questioning him as if it could have been ACP Khan himself, is it because he was involved with covert operations at some point? 😲 So ACP Khan has been in trouble too with the case before this one, seems like he is stuck with trouble this time again. And finally how he detests control being taken away from him, Ayaan is going to enjoy this, isn't it? 😎 Gosh the setup is so good, I wish I could read this story in one go, it is so much harder to read a thriller in bits like this. Can we please have an update soon? Yeah I am going to be whiny about not getting updates faster even if I am myself late in updating my comments. 😈

The last part, coffee drinker Khan assuming Zoe's love of tea and commissioner commenting on how looks can be deceiving is so leading...to what I want to know...😲😲😲
