His own Karma. I see..you seem to be skipping ahead. All he knows is that she is greedy and manipulating Aahil and his family for money. He knows nothing about the "crimes" she has committed. None of them. He possibly believes that she did kill the Nawab when he attacked her or something. Rehaan has a strong sense of right and wrong from what I have seen. Don't let your prejudice blind you to what is really going on with him. Do you really think he would have stuck to her if he knew what she is really capable of? He doesn't even know she threatens people. She is a blind old woman manipulating people to him..FOR HIM. As she claims. I am sure he thinks if she somehow does get the property..then he can transfer it back to Aahil. He doesn't know he is harboring a criminal for years. All he knows is that she lies and makes false promises and hence his hatred of lies. He is not a hypocrite. So no, he is not as guilty as his mom right now.

To each his own. I do like Sehaan lovestory a bit. It's somewhat different than the ever present in Indian tv lovestory of bad guy falls for good girl and she makes him a good guy. Been there done that, I like different lovestories. Yes the actor playing Rehaan is not that good in romantic scenes yet. He's a rookie, give him time. You don't learn how to run right off the bat. First you stand up, then you stumble, then walk and then run.

And again I disagree...like I said before my friend fell for his GF in an HOUR and now they have been happily married for 5 years..expecting their first child next year. You can't expect everything to fit in a box of what you think is right and wrong. World is an ever changing place. Love can happen in a year, a month, a day or an hour. It's not infatuation between Sehaan. It's love. And you can see, they are not getting married, having a baby. Their lovestory has hit a bump..it means it will grow, mature, strengthen with the tests of time. They have a lot of hurdles to pass. This, what they are going through is the build up that the viewers want.

Foil his mom's plans when he doesn't know what they are and she doesn't tell him what they are? Like how? Will he dream about them and foil them then? He works..he cannot go spy on her 24x7 to know what she is doing every second of the day. Can you stop the robbery that you heard of in the passing but don't know when, how and where it is going to happen? How can he stop what he has no clue about?

And go back and read again. I said he is human, not a saint and he needs to be extended the same courtesy that we give to other characters.

😆 chill.
Those who know me in IF for long DO know that I am least prejudiced here. Well Atleast I try to be. I don't belong to any actors FC so blindly rooting for one is out of the question here. I DO give characters enough chances before judging them. YES I liked Rehan too but I feel he doesn't deserve Seher Yet. His parentage has nothing to do with it but I AM REPEATING His actions are. He DOES know that his mother committed crimes. I NEVER said he knows about his mom mercilessly killing the nawab. He may or May Not know about that. Either way his mom confessed to him and her love for Aahil and his family is fake and all she cares is about money. She also mentioned about FEW CRIMES she committed in order to get the money. So he does know that Billi is a criminal , a lier ( BIG ONE) the kind he hates. He knows Aahil is being manipulated years after years and Aahil blindly trusts his mom and consider her as his God. He is a silent observer of all these CRIMES committed in front of him day and night.
He is the only person who can do something against that Cat since he is the ONLY one privy to her crimes( not all but many). Law says that person hiding or trying to hide a crime is as guilty as the person committing the crime.
Hence if he doesn't stand up against that criminal Cat and keep hiding her crimes things don't look so good for him as well. So let's hope for his own good he should try to expose that Billi IF he doesn't have the GUTS to tell the truth to Aahil.
As far as his acting capability goes I DO know that he is trying. But honestly why should I bother about that? I am not ENTERTAINED by his acting capability and as a viewer that only matters to me. Whether he is trying or not is never my headache . I can say if I am not impressed and honestly his cute face won't change my opinion 😆😆 unlike many as having a cute face doesn't impress me.
But YES coming to your point he HAS improved a little. Not sure about his romance skills but otherwise he is tad better.
Sorry but that's my opinion. 😊

Liked what you have written overall in this entire thread!
I agree, Rehan does not deserve the hatred. Wish the CVs had done a better job, but for the most part it hasn't been as bad. Perhaps it's just really frustrating to see him always staying silent and being helpless. I think that may be since Shehzad is a bit green in acting, he's not really able to pull that off really well (still improving), but we all know that's what he is trying to portray for his character. He has an emotional turmoil that is not easy to resolve because of the lies he has been fed by his nefarious mother, while many think he should reveal his mother's true intentions, it would not be so easy for a character like him that has been ingrained to be dutiful, respectful, and obedient. In fact, he's never been for action until Sunehri came along in his life, he was always very passive prior to which is why I agree that he didn't really love Sanam, a lot of that came from being able to sympathize with Sanam and her being the ideal of what kind of girl he wants in his life, but in truth, now what he needs. What he realizes that what he needs is in the form of Sunehri, somebody outspoken who can take him out of his shell, not Sanam, who is similar to him in that they are both serious individuals who need people like Sunehri and Aahil to bring them out. She also brings him to action, unlike Sanam. I think losing Sanam was for him to learn the lesson that if one wants love in one's life, then they can't remain passive, they have to say it to that person. Sanam was more of a life lesson that he needed to learn through that heartbreak to be able to accept someone else.

CVs did do it in fast forward for SeHaan, but that's because that was to add more spice to their track/QH plot so I understand that their love story is different, which is nice. While SaHil has the typical treatment of bad boy - good girl formula, they are unique in regards to the whole process of how it happened in felt very real and not dragged at all. Sehaan, on the other hand, was fast, each episode a new step in their relationship.

Anyhow, cool to know not that many haters out there =)

As you said it's just a show, not life or death, so it's all good. Just going to enjoy the ride and keep the faith with the writers. They seem to be doing a good job with QH2 for the most part, even with the flaws, it's still one of the more interesting shows out there on GECs, if not the most.

this is a much needed post!! earlier I was a sahil fan.. even now I like sahil.. but I never hated rehaan,,, there is no reason to hate!!
he's such a sweet guy and yes I dont think we can mark him as billi's son and hence forth go bashing and hating him.. that's ridiculous...
well abt sanam, its true that he kinda liked her.. she was lonely in trouble and he was a loner... and he felt good having her beside him as friend always and mistook that feeling as love...
and seher is definitely his love.. thts wat makes him sense her in IM now..
and I adore sehan and this post is amazing again! good one :)

Very good response! I don't think the CV's have worked hard enough on the way Rehan the character is presented. So it is partially their fault. But overall, I think him and his situation and his equation with Billi is all VERY complicated! She is not some random women, she is his Mother! Even a hardened criminal might defer to his Mother!

I am not sure if anyone on this forum has watched Saraswatichandra? But in that show, Danny Vyas (brilliantly played by Varun Kapoor), ends up standing against his own Mother Ghuman! It took a long time for him to see what she was really like. But once he realised how despicable she really was, he helped his brother Saras to bring her to justice! Her constant emmotional blackmail and manipulation no longer worked on him!

But for that to happen, he had to really find out the truth about her! The whole truth, not half! He knew his Mum was manipulative? But he didn't know she was actually a cold heartless women who is willing to kill a child so she can get what she wants in life. Danny's parting words to his Mother were;

"Hum dono Ke beech main Ab Sirf Eki hi rishta hain. Nafrat Ka. Aur Kuch Nahin"!

One day I am sure the same will occur between Rehan and Billi when he becomes privy to the REAL person his mother is? He knows she is not a good person, that she is greedy, that she is a liar and a manipulator. That is why he always says that she has made his life a "Lie". He feels trapped. He feels he CANT betray her. But he hates the fact that he can't tell anyone what she is really like. The ONLY time he told anyone about his Mother and how manipulative she was, was when he was high on Bhang with Seher. Otherwise he always keeps it in! He must be pretty tortured too, keeping her secret!

I don't think people understand how complicated Rehan is? Just coz he is a "nice" guy, that dosent mean he is not Complex?? You first have to understand that this is a VERY grey area! Expecting a black and white response to Rehan and his equation with his Mother is very short sighted. Also, I too believe that Seher is his true love. He feels this incredible pull towards her?? That didn't exist with Sanam. He cared a lot for her, and yes Sanam was a major "life lesson" for him! He found out that you will only get what you want in life if you speak up! Eventually he will understand that this applies to his Mother as well! He needs to speak up AGAINST her, for his redemption and also for his future!

You are now my best friend!! I'm sending you a buddy request the second I'm done here!! I'm really fed up of everyone bashing Rehaan.. And I completely agree with you when you say that Rehaan never loved Sanam.. It was more of a crush.. She's pretty, nice to him, treats him like a friend... Of course you're gonna develop a liking for that person!! He never got that type of attention when he was younger so what were you expecting from him??

And the fact that AsYa's daughter SHOULDN'T be with the son of billi.. That's stupid.. His MOM is the psychopath here! Not him! And you're telling me that someone who never did anything bad for anyone doesn't deserve happiness because his MOM is a crazy murderer! That's not fair.. Cut the guy some slack people!!

And really! Why can't SeHaan and SaHil lovers just live in peace without some raging fan wars about the pairs!!

Yes actually there is a parallel here. My question was totally relevant to the point I wanted to make.
