As writers, we're not doing the readers a favour. The readers aren't doing us a favour by reading. And she's right - seems like only the comments that are "nice to hear" are wanted.

And I think p_s 05 meant that we see these reader/writer posts very often. I've seen so many in the past few months, from both sides. I've even posted one - so have you.

Perhaps readers are feeling as targeted as some of the writers are.

Thanks for reading this at face value, inverted truth wasn't intended.

Okay so!

Choco raised a valid point, because truly, readers should read and trust the writers. And never show disrespect to them. And well, start demanding for sex scenes.

I'm surprised that some people actually did all this...Demand erotic scenes? (Who Choco, that got asked to write explicit scenes?)

Anyway!

p_s05,

Truly!

*I see myself as a reader and source of neutral introspection too (well, am biased for obvious reason) haha*

You're so right!

It's exasperating!

And well it IS Monday!

Your wit always has me laughing out loud, literally! You're the sunshine here. ⭐️

And I need to know this exceptional read too!! COZ I LOVE READING. ANYTHING EXCEPTIONAL.

I'm sure you follow this!

And well coz I'm bored.

Then maybe you need to reread your own words before attacking me personally.

The disconnect between writers and their followers are alarming, in respect of the above distresses, writers should perhaps include disclaimers to ensure they receive the content of feedback they desire to avoid this constant blame game, and general disregard to readers, this is ultimately a give and take relationship which lacks equilibrium.

Hey Choco,

Am with you on this issue. I guess the readers need to grasp this fact fast before more of our writers quit just due to the constant negative feedback or pressure they feel while updating. Those who can't keep their unasked opinions & suggestions may very well leave the story thread gracefully instead of spoiling the writers efforts & the readers fun.
A Great step 👍🏼

Well said Nimra! 👍🏼

Hi...choco...well i agree with whatever you said in your post...because..we can't expect somebody to pointout on anybody's flaws...in their story...because it is the wrters vision and it is none of other people business...because i know that there goes a lot of effort...both physical and emotional...in writing a story...and there is an attachement which develops with the story...so we should not abuse or bad mouth them...the writer knows what he/she is doing...and they have that liberty...with them...it is like their baby...no doubt we can state the fact what we dislike in a story...but we can't force..and abuse...them to change it...this is what i think and i totally stand by it...beacuse..it needs courage and strong will to write a story...which we commenters don't have that is why we point flaws in others...

I agree the world isnt revolve around the romance we have to think about the realism of life as well and what ever a writer writes we should appreciate it if not interested then dont read it but never say something which may hurts the feeling of writers
But I just want writers to think about tgeir loyal readers once

I didn't quite comprehend the intent behind this post, so I quickly skimmed over the comments and grasped the possible reason for the concerns raised, if this has extended from readers' comments/feedback on a particular fiction which is undoubtedly an exceptional read, its ridiculously unwarranted to categorise those comments and feedback as a demand for explicit content or constant romance.

As a reader and source of neutral introspect, it is safe to establish, writers do not wish to connect with their readers and the possible variation of mentalities therefore only desiring glorified and positive feedback.

The disconnect between writers and their followers are alarming, in respect of the above distresses, writers should perhaps include disclaimers to ensure they receive the content of feedback they desire to avoid this constant blame game, and general disregard to readers, this is ultimately a give and take relationship which lacks equilibrium.

P.S I find an argument over cyberspace pointless rather than mind stimulating.

P.S.S No offense ChocoBerry Mom, but this topic is becoming exasperating and over drawn.

Absolutely no offense taken Prashni 😊

It is not about what a writer wants to hear in the comments. Its about how you put that across. Out right telling a writer you will quit cause there is a twist is not fair.

My point here has been just this, that if a reader can appreciate 10 chapters of romance, they should accept twists that are introduced too. Complaining as soon as a twist is introduced... I don't understand that.

P.S. your comments on stories are not what I am talking about, they are the best a writer can get. Hope my reply above tells you what I am saying. AND definitely not a post I wanted to make early in the morning.
