But I support writers writing anything and if they can build that logic for the character, even better. Otherwise rushing the love story just to get to read the sex is weird. Just like using the name of the character to write completely different characters that have no similarity to the soap's characters.
I also avoid it in case the actors playing the characters get embarrassed running into explicit scenes. Arhi inspired a lot of erotica that eventually went to blogs. I am cool with that. Here there are 9 year olds, so we have to be a little more careful. I would rather write angsty love stories.</font>
Hi Mary
I disagree with your statement about using the characters to write a story not based on the show. This is fan "fiction", after all, as the word suggests.
I agree that a writer like yourself would decide to not write explicit scenes, and that is your prerogative as a writer.
BUT
Nine year olds on the forum... I don't even know what to say about this...
Their own parents should monitor what they're even doing on the internet, and the writers on the forum shouldn't be restricted because of moral policing. Honestly, I have a child and I would not expect website owners to censor what's happening on their site, because I am not watching what my child is up to.
