I agree completely as a writer. I like reading any good writing, but I made a decision long ago to not write explicit sex scenes. Even though that promises more readers. I just don't cause it doesn't make sense for the characters when I am concentrating on them (usually pre confession). It just doesn't make sense for my very Indian Sanam then for e.g. But I support writers writing anything and if they can build that logic for the character, even better. Otherwise rushing the love story just to get to read the sex is weird. Just like using the name of the character to write completely different characters that have no similarity to the soap's characters.

I also avoid it in case the actors playing the characters get embarrassed running into explicit scenes. Arhi inspired a lot of erotica that eventually went to blogs. I am cool with that. Here there are 9 year olds, so we have to be a little more careful. I would rather write angsty love stories. And I am fine with constructive criticism and suggestions.

First of al ur ps was hilarious 😆

But I disagree yar ...I think a reader should be given the liberty to write in their comments what they feel after reading a particular update...whether it is negative or positive one... ...honestly I love criticism more than the positive comments...we get an honest feedback abt what they actually feel...And abt mature stuff...I think every reader wants to see romance between their fav couple...but I agree romance all the time is not possible...it will be written when their is a need for it...

But I like it when any reader tells me what they want to see...it actually helps you connect with them.. And a dozen of Critisms is better than nice or awesome update..it sometimes helps yu see where you're going wrong..😊

Btw I love ur username

Agree, if a writer can justify an emotionally challenged Asad in an explicit scene with Zoya, before marriage too sometimes, I too have no problems.

My main concern here is that as soon as a the first chapter of a story is posted they all start demanding confession and romance... They're impossible sometimes.

Hey Choco

I agree with your post, totally. Readers should allow the writers to write what they want. If they're not liking it, move on.

The same goes for the writers that DO write mature content (I'm one of them). If you're not comfortable with it, well... read something else.

Another thing... so many writers have posted about not receiving likes and comments and that's fine, if that's what you need, but then... shouldn't the readers also have the right to say what they feel?
I mean yeah, say it without being negative alright, but we ask for comments, then when they comment, it's not good enough, then we want them to tell us only what we want to hear?

I don't know if I'm making much sense here, but there seems to be a disconnect between the writers and readers on this forum.

I agree with you. Writing takes up a lot of time and effort, and most of the time I dont even have the time to do it, but I write coz I love to write.

I do have romance and sometimes sensual scenes in my writing, but it is minimal. The story is King in my opinion and the characters are paramount.

Thanks for the username appreciation Pinky.

I know criticism is better than just a one word comment. What my point is I have read comments where they are demanding romance from the first chapter till the end. What kind of a story can you build with just romance and xxx stuff. That is my concern.

To build a story you need to add drama, some rona dhona, some separation or misunderstandings, some twists and finally you add romance. Criticizing a story for lack of romance is not justified, especially when you have had a good 10 chapters of it already but you want to start complaining as soon as a twist is introduced.

well Di I am not a writter but I can actually understand ur furstration.

and honestly I may have give feedback to writter&asked them to give a thought but I haven't demand anything.
Like recently I've asked Juleit to update Wallbanger, epilogue of "the hidden trurths" with Kals
THATS IT

But Di don't u think we reader have a right to give our POV weather its negative or positive&u r taking that right away from us which Is not fair.

Totally agree with you Berry! I can totally understand where your frustration comes from.. Even I have seen readers demanding something they want and not appreciating what the writers write..

Requesting in a subtle way is good but outright demanding is just too annoying..

Hey Tamara,

You know I love tour stories, always have. I don't have issues with mature content in the stories or on the forum. If you can justify all that's happening then why not. Like your own stories.

My concern is you can't expect every writer to give you mature stuff or rather you can't have romance throughout a story. That is the expectation I have seen that people have from writers.

They only want romance in every chapter, in every line. Now how are you supposed to write a story with just romance. There will be twists that the reader should accept especially when a story has already given you 10 + chapters of romance already.

Comment yes, but after 10 chapters if 5 chapters have a twist that has been introduced and is being played out for the lead to be together again. Those 5 chapters you should accept as openly as the first 10.

Hope I made some sense 😕
