QH1, I think the names ayan and asad were interchanged in the synopsis coz right from day 1, it was meant to be asya else zoya would've landed at SM, with shireen being her phoophi instead of Dilshad. Had VM been the first choice to play Ayaan, I'm sure Gul would've gone ahead with the original synopsis. But that's spilled milk, which has been licked by the cat and wiped clean.

Fitting in QH1 into QH2, two brothers, both in love with each other and also the same girl. So. you think halala will be tried this time. Except for the anguish and angst for all the 3 concerned, the equations will remain as they will end up tonight - saahil married.

Rehaan, the question of giving up his love doesn't arise coz Sanam doesn't love him, not yet.

Ahil. the question of taking up his bro's love doesn't arise coz Sanam agreed to nikaah of her own will, well not exactly.

Now, what we will get to see is raw emotions, which Gul is so good at capturing. Hope Rehaan can deliver whatever shade has been decided for him. SJ and KVB, we have seen, are aces when it comes to emotional and angsty scenes.

Lovely post, though, I don't agree QH2 meets QH1 at this point.

And honestly I feel QH2 is focussing more on story and leads ever since IPL ended, than QH1 ever did in its 18 months journey. IN QH1 the story stood at the same place for more than a year and within a week, all the plots were closed.

Back then Asya were madly in love, here its one-sided love all the way, be it Ahil's or Rehaan's.

The OTTs are fixed, and married too, now waiting for them to fall in love.

The problem in QH1 was that they tried ZoYaan very late in the game.

AsYa was established.

Here Sanam's feelings are still ambiguous.

Rather she has feelings for Rehan as a friend and Aahil as the go to person in case of any crisis.

In her unconscious state, when she sees death in the face all she can think about is Aahil.

So aag to dono taraf lag chuki hai...

Shaadi ke baad bhadak bhi jayegi.

Most of the people hated the zoyan track but i think it helped to establish some things.Asad learnt that for the sake of Nikhat he had no right to sacrifice Zoya.Secondly he realized the extent to which he loved her,He went to SM when ayan was ill and hugged zoya.Asya were very good during the zoyan track Asad felt jealous and when tanu blackmailed him he didd'nt go for the sacrificial mode and instead unmasked tanveer.HE went to Sm and claimed her replying to all the questions posed by maulvis,Gaffur etc.Zoya who was all for nikah and its sanctity realized that Love is more important than rituals and customs and societal rules.So zoyan served a purpose.

Coming to QH 2 Ahil realized the day he found rehan and Sanam talking and laughing after the "why can't you understand "incident when she filled his glass with ice that Sanam is more comfortable with Rehan.He himself made matters difficult by scolding Sanam after the washing machine incident,Sanam is no Zoya who forgives easily.Sanam is like her dad remembers and she is also judgemental.Ahil was jealous when Rehan showed the ring and was about to walk off when rehan asked him to congratulate and rehan hugged him.Ahil will think of a way to unite Sanam and Rehan.

But billi might be having her own plans and would do something to make Rehan like her.REhan in his nice character is no use for billi.Let's hope Rehan does'nt become negative nad they don't show halala.

Was already a major fan of your post but also admire the fact how you defend SaHil and QH2 and are mature enuff to understand that no one replaces anyone. If the thing is written in fate of one actor he would get it. If not then something better would come his/her way. We should love actors for their talent and acting skills but not get blinded in shipping them so ardently that start blaming other people and overlook the hard work of other actors who are equally talented and give it their all to make the show work.

P.S. I really hope wish and pray that CV's don't show Aahil trying to make Sanam fall in love with Rehaan. And telling her to go to Rehaan as he loves her truly, in turn making Sanam shout at him saying she has fallen for him during the period of three months,after listening to Aahil telling her to go to Rehaan, she can start hating him, but I hope Aahil does not divorces Sanam in the process to be the sacrificial hero. Ok Sanam can get angry on Aahil for telling her to go to Rehaan after she has fallen for him and she can also leave Aahil after confessing her love, but does not want her to think of divorcing Aahil under any circumstances. They can fight to all their heart content and Aahil can try to make up with Sanam by apologizing profusely for not understanding her love for him, then he shud try to bring her back in his life. But in no circumstances I want them to divorce each other. They should remain married until the end, no matter how many difficulties arise, They should have only one Nikaah and that is with one another only.
