Yes, me too :)

Btw, what the heck is Gujariya? .. I'm finally interested in QH again, and really don't want to writers to get lazy again. Gul needs to be focused on QH!

Step Uncles!😆

Actually, when U know this is a community where cousins marry each other...which is still the norm in some Hindu communities too..(just in case anyone felt offended that I dragged in one particular religion😳)...there is no question of morality there for me...it is accepted by the society for ages.😉

On wife swapping...😆...I would never consider it that, because for me it is about people fearing to break the rules society has laid down...only to learn the lesson that' love conquers everything...society be damned...' 😉

There are communities where Uncles actually their nieces too.
So,yeah,let's damn society & morals😉
In most of these type of shows/movies, I hate the way they leave the woman's feelings unexplored. The men decide who gives up, who gets her, what about whom she wants to be with? One show I really enjoyed where the elder brother marries his brother's love after his death & goes thr' the agony of falling for her is Parichay. The initial phase was good, like a new beginning for both.

IMO,these type of triangles work in fast paced movies and in daily soaps where everything is stretched to unimaginable limits, the agony, angst & those constant melancholic tunes turn me off totally.
Hmm anyway,I'll keep the remote ready if Gul breaks up SaHil & goes the Halala way.
If the spoilers are true and Rehan turns negative , I would like to see shades of Darr in QH than the marriage/talak circus.

Gujariya is Gul's new show on V...😊...so QH does not have her undivided attention...😉

But the script might do OK since it is not messed up like Zoyaan. This is the right juncture in a relationship to bring in a triangle like this. And the team can actually deliver without Gul's full focus since it is a strong track. Would be better if she was fully tuned in to QH...unfortunately, the PH needs money...and Gul needs to nurture other shows.😊

Beautiful post as always CS!

QH2 is a different show, it's about two step-uncles falling for their niece😆 ,morality be damned,I like Uncle Ahil . I dislike the brother's amanat concept and simply can't watch the horror of wife swapping and a girl being traded, however beautifully enacted.Sincerely, hope they've buried the original QH1 script somewhere it can't be found.

Guess, they've deviated from the dreaded synopsis,by showing Ahil being in love at the time of marriage.

I agree that the amanat concept is not something I would want to watch, a woman kept as safe-keeping.

I really do like the way QH2 has gone about this story. Aahil is a keeper of his brother's love only in the sense that he's now married to her. He's not in this to keep her protected and safe for Rehan. But rather he has found himself in a situation where he's married to his brother's love--one who he thinks loves his brother back--for a short amount of time due to majboori or other reasons from his side, his wife's side and others' side.

A temporary marriage, wherein which he may believe his wife will probably leave this arrangement and would go back to his brother when the time comes.

He is not acting as any keeper for his brother. He is one who will try to make do with this cruel fate which has been handed to the three of them.

And yup, the deviation of Aahil being in love with her is what makes this much better.

Simran,

Don't worry about marriage talaq halaala circus here...that is not Gul's style.😆

Saahil has many speedbreakers ahead...😉

Parichay- Didn't know that was the original story...started watching somewhere towards the end..as usual, EK makes them..breaks them...😆 YHM (catch it once in a while) is the only show of hers that seems to be sensibly progressing...at least as sensible as possible...don't know when she will break that too!😆

It is not as bad as you think.

If U R talking about Mangalpur...the outcomes are diferent...it is just an ambulance moment and the reaction to that. And since Sanam is Zoya's daughter...the same fate befalls her...would her story be the same?
