Gauffar had completed his PHD and had been teaching biology to college students in a very reputed school. This morning his ammi had called him and had fixed his alliance with a Girl called Razia.Gauffar knew Razia she had been his neighbour and was a exact carbon copy of his mother, his dad had advised him to keep more wives as this act of his would fulfill the religious commitment that was still not rejected by the Pakistani women and Gauffar had seen the Benefits of more than one wife but he had also seen the other effect ... so rite now his childhood questions and the thought that if man is allowed to keep more than one... then why not women... dominated the male need and greed.Right now he was satisfied with the idea of one wife and in Pakistan's capital things had changed although not a large no but women had refused their husband who wanted to get second wives.Razia was very shy,soft spoken,homely,umaware of the outside world,she was a 12 pass and did not show any interest in future studies her dreams were marriage, children...She was totally up to the mark in all the home stuff and was a calm and positive lady ,Gauffar knew she was very very traditional and would never refuse or disagree with her husband and most importantly she was his mother's choice so it was decided they would get married in 1987
1990 Gauffar was happily married his wife boosted his make ego to such a large extent that even he had started believing that he could travel faster than rite.Razia never denied him anything even if she was tired she never said no to her bedroom duties as a wife.Gauffar used to feel guilty sometimes but then he was a human after all you tend to see your own benefit rather than ...and Razia too always made him feel that he was the best.But in these few years he had see his friend get married to a strong headed female and he did miss those arguments it was fun if your wife had spunk. He went to his dad and said,"Dad Razia is a very good wife but she is meek and docile i want someone to standup to me and i want someone witty,clever and intelligent in my life Razia always agrees with everything and sometimes its not fun to achieve a thing you dint work hard for but if i get tjat sort of wife she wont listen to me and wont fulfill her wifely duties and also there are times when i just want to be praised even when i am not worth it and sometimes i want to know my faults.
Gauffars father said to him well son you know the key to a happy life na see my life and you'll get the answers i never craved for anything and never had to compromise in my life...So Gauffars desire overpowered him and he decided he wanted to get married again. Gauffar went to Razia and said" That he had to fulfill the religious obligation and he wanted to get married again... Her name is Zainab and she is a English teacher in our school she is a widow of 2 years but had no children ...Razia said"You are doing a rite thing you are helping a lady in need but before you marry her i want a child as after marriage you will have to distribute your time and when you're not here with me i would take care of our daughter. So Gauffar agreed and Humeira was born in ***1991*** Zainab was a very independent and career oriented and kund hearted lady she was not made for the twentyth century she had views that would only become a reality in the 21 century. She wanted to always continue her career, she belonged to a very orthodox family and village she was the only girl from the village who had completed her post graduation and was working her family had in a way disowned her but she was able to continue with her dream because of her munani and mamy.Sge had married a mab but had hardly lived with him as she was busy with her MPHIL
She was a strong woman and held views that men and women are equal but this society was so dam unaccomadating.She felt that both males and females had rites and duties. ****But the present situation was Makes had rites and females had duties****She was of the view that if both make and female worked both of them had should help in the household work too but the males always said it is not written somewhere that females should work outside their home they can stay in the house also. Zainab replied i also have not seen any religious book of any part of the world that says only men can work outside. But she knew the truth she lived in a society where even the females dint agree toh males toh...Zainab felt that if a wife was tired or unwell she had the full rite to say no to a wifes duties.So she found out a mid way when Gauffars proposal came to her she was delighted she had no longe to worry about these issues she could refuse all of this as Razia was there to take care of all of this and Gauffar was a respected teacher she would be able to fulfill her career dreams.She did not jave to cook and could day no to Gauffar as he could always go to Razia for all those.He was intelligent so they would have atleast professional compatibility and most important she couls speak her mind as gauffar wanted a critic wife yippee she shouted so gauffar married Zainab three months after humeiras delivery in ** 1991** IN DELHI 1994 RASHID AND DILSHAD WERE FINALLY READY TO HAVE A CHILD THEY JAD WORKED ENDLESS FOR 7 YEARS TO MAKE THEIR CAREER AND KNOW THEIR HOSPITALS BRANCH JAD SPREAD TO CHINA AND SOUTH AFRICA.MR JAMES HAD FOUND A SON AND RASHID AND DECIDED THAT AFTER HIS DEATH THE WHOLE HOSPITAL FRANCHISE WPULD BE OWNED BY RASHID AND DILSHAD,MR JAMES WAS 77 AND PEOPLE KNEW HE WONT BE THERE FOR LONG SO RASHID AND DILSHAD HAD BECOME A CROREPATI AND PATNI RATOO RAAT BUT THEY DID DESERVE ITSO IN 1994 TWINS WERE BORN TO RASHID AND DILSHAD THEY WERE NAMED ASAD AHMED KHAN AND AAYAN AHMED KHAN HERE IN PAKISTAN ZAINAB AND GAUFFAR HAD A DAUGHTER BORN IN 1994 CALLED ZOYA FAROOQUI ZAINAB HAD INSISTED THAT ZOYA RETAINS HER DADIS MAIDEN NAME AS ZAINAB LOVED HER MOTHER IN LAW VERY MUCH
