Heyya all you amazing readers!

Here's another from team Dynamic ;) Hee!

The Sinking Ship

I saw a bird
Flying my way.

I tried to run,
But tripped and swayed.

I hear the ocean
I hear its waves

I await
His loving embrace.

I saw a bird,
Flying my way

I tried to run
But now I'm hurt.

A sinking ship, he says.
The Titanic.

A story of love, I countered.
Titanic.

A story of hope,
Of life
Of dreams.

You live in a dreamland, he accuses.

Illusionary..

But I'm real, I defended.

Aspirant

Idealist.
Optimist.

You are real, he smiles.
You're a dream too.

Who's? I whispered.

Well mine, who else?

Over the oceans we glide
Through the winds and above the tide

As free as he was
I was to be too

The ship that fell deep in sorrow, he continues.

Brought together the souls of tomorrow, I ended.

I saw a bird
Flying my way.

And this time
This time, I braved.

This is soo beautiful. I am not good with words like you guys are but just wanna say it touched my heart.

I saw a bird

Loved these lines.
"This time, I braved." How meaningful is this line. You could get a new life if you approach it in the right way. You go up a level and then you level off. Nothing is ever a straight shot.

And these lines stayed in my mind even I finished reading. Just loved how you played with words here. Beautiful. 😊
