Verdict

I know it is a bit too early to judge but first impressions always count for me,My verdict therefore for QH 2 is ...thanda ! I would give it barely 4/10. What about you guys ?

The leap does nothing for me except just that ...a leap !

We have been highjacked to new environs of rustic Punjab and away from the grandeur of SM/KV and Bhopal with its grand Masjids and beautiful lake. But is this the only leap we will witness...a change of locale. I would have liked the same setting ...in the midst of grand Bhopal. Hopefully Ahil will take us back there...to his Begum Sahiba.

The actors have new names but have retained the old flavour.They seem to be in a fancy dress party. Hopefully they will get out of the skin of Zoya/Dilshad and move on with the show ...the leap!

The new hero did not impress much inspite of the much touted entry. But it is too early to pass any judgement as he is a versatile actor...just looks a bit old for SJ.

All in all I was a tad disappointed ...maybe I had built up unrealistic expectations .

I really liked the episode. It felt like old QH days are back. Everything was good. KVB entry was nice. I am already loving story. sanam,Aahil and Anwar looking forward to their story and Rehan is sooo cute <3
It was first episode so its too early to judge actors. Well i am loving QH 2 😃

I was not that impressed by leap either. Yes, I still see Zoya in Sanam and Dilshad didn't age a bit. As you said it was like they are in a fancy dressing competition in a new locale.

I guess the leap was made necessary more because of off screen shenanigans than for an actual requirement in the storyline.
The original QH that attracted all of us were hooked to the drama in a new genre which does not get explored in ITV. The acting of course complemented the drama excellently and the two together made QH 1 a serial above the ordinary initially.
Alas good things do not last and soon the entire show was ripped apart and off railed. Many loose ends have been left unresolved...some may get resolved with the leap ...though I doubt that very much. Some important ones will never reach apt conclusion as the main protagonists are no more.

But it is too early to pass judgement...maybe this has been a hurried job and with time things will fall into place as QH 2 progresses .

I liked the new location, something fresh. Of course Dilshaad left Bhopal to get away from Tanveer so she does not kill them too. Change of locale was a must. I was NOT impressed with the new male lead. He does seem a lot older than Sanam.

Yes ! We need to let the new plot unfold for sure before sentencing anyone. The new male lead may carry the role on his experienced shoulders so let us not hurry the judgement and persecute him. Stay wary of heckling him the way we subjected the other lead...may be the real reason for the hurried leap.

But a few suggestions here may alert the CVs positively as they must be anxiously awaiting reactions. They can tweak the characters better with some suggestions from the audience. maybe not as QH CVs have been known to always disregard viewers wishes.

tbh I wasnt impressed either... or may be it was because I was still upset over season 1 ending that made it hard for me to enjoy the episode

I was expecting better , come on CVs could have done so much, but it was really thanda . Story is too predictable and of course CVs failed to create an atmosphere of 20 years from now, it looked more like they have travelled 10-15 years in the past then in the future for instance 20 years ago Asad used to break blackberry and laptops every day and Zoya was so much into technology so were other girls too but the telephone at sanam's dhaba was of olden times, a simple mobile won't have hurt .
CVs are making sanam Zoya part 2 she is a replica of her mom minus messy nature , with Seher's entry due , I hope they know what they are doing.

Ahil's Casanova Image was Forced although KVB's acting was good , Rehan is cute and such a sweety pie . And no points of guessing Begum Sahiba is none other then Billi.

But It is still to early to judge season 2 .
