Part 7

Asad who is standing near his car thinks abt his fight wid Zoya in d mall some minutes ago. He then thinks abt his fight wid Zoya wen he bumped into Zoya earlier in d mall n they had a fight wid her teln dat she is going to live in a house wid good people where d people of dat house vl not take a guy like him inside their house. He sits in his car.

"Zoya was proudly talking abt living in my house but now she hates me n even my ammi. She also hates Tanveer, abbu n my step-siblings," said Asad n he started driving d car.

A week has passed since Asad n Zoya's 1^st divorce signing. Zoya has changed a lot. She remains quiet most of d time. She only talks to Najma in d house. She completely ignores Asad n Dilshad. She spends most of d time of d day in office or locking herself in her room while doing her office work. She even does not eats anything made by them. She cooks food on her own be it good or bad. She has started drinking black coffee widout sugar. 4m d time, she left d house after her 12 days of marriage wid Asad she did not said a single shayari. She did not even said Allah Miya, Wats wrong wid u?'. Najma n Dilshad r unhappy to see Zoya changed so much. All including Asad r missing her n her old behaviour. Dilshad n Najma ignores Asad most of d time blaming him for Zoya getn changed.

Zoya n Najma r in Zoya's room.

"Najma, u sud not call Asad as Mr. Khan'. U sud call him bhaijaan'," said Zoya.

"Zoya, how can I call him bhaijaan' wen he was hardly like one?" asks Najma, "Most of d times, he was like a dictator."

"Najma, I try to talk wid her but she always ignores me," said Asad.

"Do u expect her to talk wid u after wat u all did wid her? For more than a month, Zoya tried to be ur friend but u only thought ur ego n regressive ideologies. U never let her live happily in peace. After marriage, u became worse. U mentally tortured her all d time by increasing ur insults n taunts. U found mistake in everything she did. U tried to be like those oppressive husbands who never treats their wife equal n forces their decisions on her. Then how can u expect her to talk wid u n forgive u so easily?" asked Dilshad.

"Khala, Zoya no longer loves u. She now hates u n ignores u. So, how can u still support her over ur own son?" asked Tanveer.

Tanveer becomes quiet. Asad is not able to say anything.

Asad in his room is thinking how Zoya angrily destroyed their wedding attires n gifts n how she left d house. He then thinks abt how Zoya was crying in d dargah wen she saw her for d 1^st time. He recalls abt Najma's n Dilshad's words on d dining table.

"I did wrong wid Zoya. I never respected her cuz of my own ego n regressive thinking. How I became such type of person wen ammi n Najma r not like dat? I always hurt Zoya n even became heartless to her just cuz she is a modern girl. I tried to control her n force my decisions on her. Cuz of me, Zoya has changed so much. Asad comes outside Zoya's room n knocks d door.

Asad is hurt by wat Zoya said.

"Zoya, its not like dat. U r getn me wrong. I know I was wrong but now I really want u back. I hv realized my mistakes. I vl become a good husband," said Asad.

"Before becoming a good husband, u sud become a good human being, Asad," said Zoya staring him in his eyes, "U never realize wen u hurt anyone. I am not a foolish to come back to a man like u n ruin my life. I vl not change my decision. Now, just leave me alone."

One more week passes. Asad is working on a presentation on his laptop. He is not able to concentrate properly as some of Zoya's n his words came to his mind.

Asad luks up n says furiously, "Did I asked ur help? I don't want ur help however I hv to do d work. A wife does not help her husband in these kinds of work. Scene shifts to SM. After Haseena n Chand's visit, they r talking outside d SM gate.

"Baaji, u hv still not able to found d relationship of Asad n Ayaan," said Chand.

Asad again thinks wat Zoya said @ d mall.

"I sud tell d truth. How long vl v able to hide d truth? If Haseena Bi really cares abt Nikhat then she vl not break d rishta. If Imraan really loves Nikhat then he vl accept Nikhat after dis truth. I was so stupid dat I did not thought abt d consequences but Zoya thought abt it. She is really very intelligent n wants us to be alert," said Asad to himself.

Asad goes near Zoya's room. He hides n luks inside. Zoya was talking wid Najma. Zoya was wearing a beautiful one-shouldered long orange dress. Asad gets mesmerized by her.

"U know, Tamatar. On New Year fashion, I am going to wear dis gown as a designer. I am only showing u. I wore it now cuz u told me to dress in dis as u want to see me wearing dis. Asad has torn d previous dress dat I designed for myself to wear. And I don't want dis to happen again. He can do it again cuz he can't see a woman especially his wife fulfilling her dreams n getn successful. Hope everything goes well in d show," said Zoya.

Asad is shocked n hurt @ wat Zoya said. He goes away 4m there.

Next morning, Haseena, Chand Imraan arrives in KV. D elders start chatting. Khans gives some gifts to Qureshis.

"By d way, Rashid Miya, Shirin, can u tell me who is Asad Ahmed Khan?" asked Haseena.

"Zoya Farooqui?" said Imraan shockingly, "Ammi, she is one of d fashion designers of US n now she had expanded her business in Bhopal. I read abt her in newspapers n mazagines. She never mentioned anywhere dat she is married n still uses her abbu's surname."

"Bhaijaan, Haseena Bi said right. She vl find a traditional girl for u. U always wanted a traditional girl as ur wife not a modern girl. If Haseena Bi finds a traditional girl for u then it vl be so nice to see both of ur romance," said Nuzhat wid a smile.

"Nuzhat, dis is a real life not movie. U r too small to think deeply abt all dis," said Asad firmly, "I said na, I am not interested in it then y don't u understand? And how can u just talk abt romance n all wid me n some random girl? Dat also wen no girls hv been selected for me or I hv talked to someone. So, plz stop ur imagination. U sud pay more attention in ur studies n not pay attention in linking me wid any other random girl."

Nuzhat became quiet.

"Now, I am leaving," said Asad n left.

"Rashid Miya, ur elder son is very nice," said Haseena wid a smile.

"Yaa Haseena Bi, bhaijaan is really very nice. Bhaijaan is so nice dat he even gets ready to defend people who does not likes him. He never hurt anyone," said Ayaan.

Zoya laughs heartily. Asad is confused on y she is laughing.

"Asad, r u innocent or stupid or both?" asked Zoya while laughing.

"Y r u asking me dis?" asked Asad confusingly.

"If u vl use ur brain properly, u vl understand. But u hardly use ur brain in common n useful things. Use ur brain n understand on ur own wat I mean," replied Zoya wid a taunting smirk.

Zoya goes to her room while Asad luks on confusingly.

"Wat does Zoya mean now? Wat she wants to say?" asks Asad to himself, "There is always sumthn behind her words. But wat is now behind her words? I can't understand anything."

Scene shifts to Zoya's room. She is sitting on her bed.

"I can't believe, Asad dat u can be so stupid. Now, I got confirmed dat u never use ur brain wen its needed. U don't hv d power of analyzing anything. Haseena Bi n Imraan told dat they still accepts Nikhat n u easily got satisfied wid it. I can't understand how u became such a successful businessman? U need to learn a lot, Asad," said Zoya wid a smirk.

Precap: #Next day, Asad n Ayaan r talking in d hall. Zoya arrives home after some shopping. She is wearing a blue strapless top n jeans. Asad tells her dat Ayaan has wanted to come so he called him. She tells him dat its his house n he can call anyone. Asad tells dat its her house too to which Zoya tells dat its not her house n her house in New York n in Bhopal dat her aapi-jiju had bought. She tells dat she is going to leave d house in d evening. Asad tells her dat she can't leave d house before their divorce is finalized. Zoya gets furious n tells him dat she can leave d house weneva she wants n he sud not stop her. She tells dat she vl leave d house for some days as she wants to spend New Year wid her aapi-jiju who r family not them. She leaves 4m there leaving him n Ayaan shocked.
