Nikhat as Khushbu

So we all saw Nikhat appears as Khushbu in the precap (that was quick girl, how'd you gain confidence so fast??). And my immediate reaction was gosh that's lame, I've seen this in a million other shows: Come back as a 'modern' girl and trick your unsuspecting husband into confession to send him to jail or whatever. Really dumb of the husbands too, to not find it at all strange that there's a girl who looks exactly like the wife you do not like, and she just had to coincidentally meet you.

In fact, there is a show that's using that very track at this very moment as well on another channel, where the husband tried to drown her, didn't know he didn't succeed, and then finds her lookalike (who's actually just her acting like a 'modern' girl) to come fill in the place of his supposed dead wife just so he doesn't get dumped in jail for murder. And why is the girl doing it? Revenge, duh.

But surprisingly, the precap actually caught my mom's interest, especially when I told her the girl is Nikhat. I told her what I knew from the spoilers, and her reaction was: Oh that's great, I can't wait to see what happens!

Then I said, but aren't we watching this very same thing in another show at this very point of time too. She nodded, but then said she always likes these types of tracks, because at least the girl will finally stop weeping her eyes out and do something for herself, cliched as it is.

Seems like watching a woman become empowered overnight might just catch the attention of others like my mother... I don't know!

I knw der r two other shows in two diff chnls who r following dis filmy track n nw QH too..
I really expected Nikhat to use same tactics dat FarMeeNa Used on her.. Sameera as Nakli bhoot always darofyd Nikhat to make her mad.
Nikhat too shld hv used dis as fr dem Nikhat is dead n seeing her bhoot would hv made dis track interesting to watch.
And Najma culd hv hlpd in executing dis plan.
This could hv Tit for Tat

Oh yes, if she'd returned as a ghost to scare them it would've been poetic justice! But oh well, I guess this is their selected route. See, your parents like it too right? Haha I personally don't see the charm is these types of tracks, but our parents seem to!

I jst dnt get why my parents r interested in dis filmy track 😆
So frm today we have to bear Khushbudar Episodes..

At first glance it seemed interesting only because NIkhat is going to stand up and take charge. But yes it is contrived, done to death way of revenge. But I know that these tracks work in the favor of TRPs which is probably why it is being rushed in.

I know right dis filmy marne maraane wale tracks always wrk in d favours of TRPs... 😆

this track has been used countless times on TV shows! its really sadden despite Archana getting great screen presence from begining Gul never showed a good & performance oriented track for her!

I guess that's the reason they're including Nikhat track, to gain TRPs.

Haha I was under the impression that anything done on TV is solely for TRPs, but yes I guess this will definitely have more pull then... if it's executed nicely!

Well even though the track is overused, I guess now Archana will get to show another side of her acting talents from this episode on. I hope they come up with something that will to make it just a teeny weeny bit different from similar tracks haha.
