<div>It's the fault in my stars. Nobody understands me or my posts.

Fiction, creative liberties are the key words here.

I just wish people record themselves talking and then hear it.

They would do that and it would sound like professor brian cox's lecture on quantum physics. Because this is right up there isn't it 😆

I agree that it is only a tv show, but some of u guys have also complained about stuff--for instance how zoya should not have gone out alone to meet a celebrity (dhoni) (this was delena90); how Asad should not have raised his hand on Zoya (which I and others also protested about); so if these things can be protested about, then why can't religious things be criticised? agreed it is just a show, but that doesn't mean one can't criticise! sure Islam can't be shown as it is, but too much creative liberty is also hard to digest! a muslim show should keep some essence of islam! the wedding of ASYA was not even proper! (it was not according to islamic religion); but then again why am I even expecting logic from this show?

Because these issues should have been brought up when it was relevant -

I will respond to only what you have mentioned towards me -

I still criticize both asad and zoya for those acts and let me add another one. - Asad trading zoya. It was demeaning and disgusting and to this day the character of Asad remains tarnished by it. However, unlike some people who have now conveniently brought up these issues to suit their purpose I have never been hypocritical about it. The characters were stupid and vile in those scenarios and regardless of WHO is playing them that fact remains the same.

The reason this post is here is to point out the utter ridiculousness and hypocrisy of the people who are sending out those pms - when a certain actor was on the show it was hailed as amazing and these inconsistencies were never brought about. Since you follow my posts you also know that i called Asya for all the hugging during zoyaan. Then I was called narrow minded and a basher/hater etc but now these same people are now changing their tune.

You at least have been honest - the show was illogical and continues to be so for you. Fair enough! :-)

I have come across a few of your posts in the past and have enjoyed them. You write very well :)

I am a Muslim but it makes me cringe when I hear or read comments about the show being non-Islamic and how it is projecting Muslims in a negative light. Since when is this show representing the entire Muslim community? And the last time I checked, the show was never supposed to be about religion. The characters are Muslim but that's about it.

But it kinda surprises me that people would want to see perfect Muslims in a daily soap. If we had pious and squeaky clean characters, who's gonna watch it anyway? 😆 If some people want to learn about Islam, the last person they should look up for is Gul Khan. It's not her job.

Having said that, people who are offended by what is showing in QH are perhaps not well acquainted with realities of life. Some non-Muslims do consume alcohol, they do have sex before marriage and they do cheat...the list goes on because at the end of the day, they are human too! None of us are the epitome of perfection.

Personally I think religion and entertainment should not be mixed here. People should enjoy QH if they want to and those that don't like what is being shown, well just don't watch it...simple. But I'm not one to go into what is haraam and what isn't because frankly speaking, hum sab gunegaar hai...including me! I'm a spiritual person..just keep my beliefs between me and God. But I can't understand why every action taken by a fictional character can be scrutinised in such fashion. Mind boggling. If we wanna improve ourselves - good. Why ask the same of people that don't actually exist in the real world?

Good post.
