really? Ok dats a bit surprising for me, coz who would know dis better than him dat the show goes on even wid the repalcements. The face of his leading lady in his previous show kept changing evert yr and he himself said dat 3rd replacemnet was the best acc to him.

A character is built by a team and actor plays a significant role but can't make it successful all alone without the team effort. Also, an actor should not only act well and should look the part. Don't anyone find it odd if actor playing Draupadi shoots a scene for a Mahabharat episode in jeans irrespective of the fabulous acting, appearance is one of the key factors of a character, which was not well preserved by previous Asad towards end of the tenure and it does have its impact on viewers satisfaction. There was enough damage done with crappy tracks like Zoyaan and morphing Asad to TRPs and addition to it RV had a tall order set by a good actor and angst of the popular star fans, performing and getting acceptance in such circumstances can never be easy for anyone and for sure can't for sure be termed as served in a platter.

Everybody is entitled to their POV. You just presented your point of view.

Here is my take on this. :)

4 lions shows are the shows that make stars. So yes RV is very lucky to be a part of this PH.

Like Barun Sobti said , Gul Khan should happen to every talented actor at least once.

GC, BS,SI,DD,KSG,SJ they were all made stars by GK and 4 lions. So Once again I agree that RV is lucky. The initial stages of any romantic relationship that is the clash and then courtship is one of the best period. The story, direction and good acting during the initial period garner high TRPS.

The role of AAK was defined by KSG and he did a brilliant job at that. He is not doubt a good actor.

As far as RV is concerned, ability is nothing without opportunity. RV entered QH at a very precarious time.

Inside of every problem lies an opportunity.

It could have gone either way. He could have easily flopped.He is doing a decent job at portraying AAK.

It is very hard to step into a character that was very nicely portrayed by someone. He didn't have to work hard :) He had to work very very hard in establishing chemistry with SJ.

He is getting better everyday , so Kudos to him.

And you said it so yourself. QH has always been about the story and the secrets that shaped the life of the characters.

Nothing comes easy in life, specially showbiz where you are in the public eye 24/7.

Hats off to all of them be it KSG,RV or anyone else. It is very hard to maintain sanity when you are constantly scrutinized for even breathing the wrong way.

I disagree somehow! You don't get the best without any hardworking done! And nothing(success) is achieved overnight!

I would say that when KSG was there ..he put in a brilliant performance.

no two doubts about it..

he was appreciated and more..

no one took his share of the limelight when he was in the team..

and due credit was given to him..

BUT..its RV now..he has to make his own presence felt..

it will take time..teething problems will be there..

but he is getting into the shell of AAK..

but he will be his own...lay his own style statement..

no two actors will be of the same journo...

now its RV time to bask in the glory..

I would hardly say being a replacement can be called getting everything on a platter. In fact its the opposite. RaQesh has to work hard which he is doing amidst all the negativity and hatred. He didnt got to Gul or the channel to give him the role, they came to him and Karan also encouraged him to do the role of Asad. RaQesh is a dedicated actor and is doing very well.
Have you even read any of the hate tweets he gets on twitter and replies on FB. Apart from being called allsorts he is told to quit QH and the worst, to go DIE. His wife is tagged and told to tell her husband to die. Whatever RaQesh tweets or says in an interview is taken out of context and a mountain is made out of nothing.
And how can Karan be sidelined when he is no longer in the show of his own free will.

There are people out there waiting for him to make one mistake so they can pounce on him verbally.
