Yeah I agree that forgiveness came too early. But that's just one scene. Just as V2 cursing Rashid is one scene. I did say he had random moments of anger spurts, but maybe I just didn't find them as intense as I know he can be, like he was in V1. Once again, it's just how I feel about it.

Very well said green 👏.

I absolutely loved the gradual character growth in Asad V1.0, the Asad we hated and then loved at the same time. He was such a jerk in the beginning with his own set of rigid beliefs. The initial epis, Mangalpur, the attack on Dilshad's life, searching for Dilshad's killer, Valentine's Day, BNHH... I loved the entire journey. Then that Asad got lost somewhere and became Asad V2.0. Someone I couldn't recognise at all. Imagine not reacting at all seeing Tannu in your room all of a sudden!!! I used to wonder if I was watching the same QH. That entire phase was horrible in terms of story, execution and acting (Asad V2.0 was hardly there actually).

Then came Asad V3.0. I found it hard to accept him initially coz I could only see Asad V1.0 in him. But now gradually I'm liking this Asad and the story is also moving. I also like this Asad coz he smiles a lil more than Asad V1.0 and gives some more facial expressions. I understand why Asad V1.0 was the way he was though. I do have issues with the execution of epis all this week but not really with Asad V3.0. Since this post is abt Asad and his journey I'll stick to that. I'm loving the AsYa chemistry. It's hot and sizzling. This Asad has even learnt to dance now and is certainly a better dancer too 😆.

And this is CLASS 👏

Yeah, I guess we felt exactly the same way with regards to the change in Asad through the course of time (: Asad's character was built up so carefully at the beginning, it was a complete joy to watch. Then yes, something went wrong in between, and I honestly didn't think a replacement in actors would make any difference. But I was wrong, V3 seems to have caught my attention again (: Yes the dance was lovely!! <3

A2 was much more intense and angry than A3, yes the writing might make A3 slightly more heroic, as when he entered Zoya conveniently got kidnapped 2 times! I liked A2 better than A1 because a2 was less judgemental and nicer as a person, but that does not mean that he wasn't strong and didn't roar when he needed to!

Well then that's an issue with story-telling. I'm talking about Asad as a character. Even during the scene when he was forgiving Rashid, he didn't go all weepy and stuff, he was still in element, I could feel the strength. I'm not saying that there was no strength in V2, there definitely was. I personally wasn't connecting to it as much as I would've liked to, that's all. And I liked V1 better than V2, you liked V2 better than V1, just a matter of opinion again, so that's your choice (:

I'm really not looking for a fight here. Yes, writing was also not up to mark during V2's time, I agree. And I even said that, that maybe because of the ZoYaan track and all (which frankly made no sense), I was no longer connecting to Asad's character. I really didn't expect any change in opinion after the replacement, but since writing also paced up at the same time, it worked in the favour of V3, and there's no harm in pointing it out. I don't understand what you're trying to achieve out of this discussion.

Well I have a feeling you're gonna run out of posts soon enough, so I guess I'll just continue entertaining you. Well yes, I personally started watching the show for Zoya. Nope, not the actress, the character. The story did start with it being about Zoya's journey to India to find the father, and so that will obviously remain in the centre of the story-telling process, and what keeps my interest in the show going.

Just digressing, some ppl suffer from selective perception all the time 😆. And I'll stop here 😆.

Uh, everyone in the story is part of Zoya's journey to find her father. Especially Asad, he plays a huge part. So obviously I will care for his character as well. Besides, I think caring about a character or not is my choice, don't see why I should be told which character I should or should not care about.

Haha I'm finding it a little hard to follow the train of thought, but I'm still giving it a shot just for the hell of it (:
